Politics and Religion
A history lesson from Wanker is the last thing I need. Especially when it's a diversion.
'The point (which was obvious to everyone but Wanker) was that unlike what Trump claimed, there is no Constitutional requirement to nominate a President at the convention of a political party. The first political convention wasn't until 1831.
Kamala says prices are too damn high and she will reduce prices on day one! This is a stark repudiation of Biden economic policies -- policies she helped enact with he tie breaking Senate votes.
.
If she could do it on day one Biden/Harris could do it today. She's really knifing Biden in the back now. Et tu Brutes?
Is Fester even dimly aware that BIDEN has said prices are still too high?
Poor Fester is losing it..
Oh, wait....Fester never had it.
Ever.
Fester has cracked under pressure.
…Biden wants to get back into the race. Who knows if that’s bullshit or not.
Maybe he forgets he's out of the race.
"Somebody told me ..." "Everybody knows ..." "A famous general -- you know who he is but I won't name him -- told me ..." and now "I saw a few people saying ..."
.
You SAW people saying? You didn't HEAR people saying? Who are these people? Are you a lip reader? (I know your answer: 'Yes, I am a lip reader and they clearly said that Biden is getting back into the race. They were "a few people" on line at the liquor store.")
"I read it somewhere." "I forget where I heard this." "I didn't actually read the article, but..."
Then he puts up a bogus "fact" with no link and expects to be taken seriously.
…on X. Both are conservative, both of whom I don’t consider particularly trustworthy. I didn’t post a link because I didn’t want to endorse the claim as true. However, it is worthy I think to look into and investigate further. Whether you lazy fucks would bother is probably asking too much. But I kinda hoped the lefties here would look into it because you guys would look for sources that I wouldn’t think of.
The claim, as far as I can ascertain, is that Biden wants to get back into the race and use Dem convention rules to force the issue. I would have thought that ship had sailed, but the claim is that it’s legally possible.
I suspect this just bullshit, but I have no idea if that’s the case.
Thanks, Wanker. I rest my case.
Said that in Biden’s speech to the DNC, Biden would probably challenge Trump to another debate.
It's plausible that Biden might think this, he is demented after all, but the delegates have already voted for Kamala. Even if Biden was sane and healthy what rules could he invoke to undue what has been?
My VPN blocks X with a warning of malware. I was never a twitter user anyway.
.
YOU ARE REPEATING THE UNPROVEN (and usually false) MISINFORMATION RANTINGS OF TRUMP.
.
No matter how many people re-tweet or re-package or re-post Trump's grievances, it doesn't make them true.
If your VPN is telling you that your connection to X is unsafe, then your VPN is set up wrong. To circumvent the block though, just access X through their app (Available from either the Apple Store or Google Play).
Even if you hate Elon, X is really becoming the only way to keep up with news. And not just US news but news around the world. And it does a pretty good job was keeping you out of an echo chamber if you follow people from both sides of the aisle. You lefties seem to usually be a day or two behind the rest of us.
Correct, you can follow anyone you like on X. It's not just MAGA. Plenty of communists on there for all the progressives to follow.
There were no political parties when the Constitution was written and none when the first Presidents were elected. There is no mention of political parties or their nominating processes in the Constitution.
Even before the Constitution was ratified, there were federalists like Hamilton and anti-federalists like Jefferson. By the time Jefferson came into office there was a Democrat-Republican party which is the Democrat party today. In Jefferson’s day the Democrats were of a populist bent, and even more so under Andrew Jackson.
