However, if he is guilty, he knows Mueller will find the evidence, so he has nothing to lose by firing him, though he is probably postponing the inevitable. He's probably counting on the Republicans in Congress doing nothing, if he does so.

My guess is that Putin must have some serious shit on him. Money laundering, shady loans, basically they have financial leverage over trump.There could be the promise for more loans (See Jared) and to develop the trump brand in Russia. There must be some incriminating personal shit like pictures, video on trump. Although at this stage, this would be a more of a personal issue with trump then with the country. Trump could be photographed with a sheep and his supporters wouldn't give a shit, but Melania, that's a different story.
Russian meddling benefits republicans and the trump agenda. House Republicans know that if they get half of what they want it's a win. trump will sign anything they put in front of him so it's best for them to keep trump in office. Wasn't it Obama who watched the Russians invade Ukraine, Annex Crimea by force and strong arm themselves into Syria? I remember Obama in 2012 debating Romney saying on national TV that Russia was not a threat. While Russia was building their military Obama slashed the US military funding did nothing. Obama just bent over and took it in the ass. He's entire foriegn policy was complete disaster.
Trump on the other hand has halted Russian aggression, brought NOKO to the table, moved the US embassy to Jerusalem and stopped the world from taking advantage of America's generosity. He left they failed Paris accord, is tough on illegal immigration and defeated ISIS.
We have enabled Russia to run buck shot over the world, Prime Minister May has more BALLS then trump.Trump has led us from behind in that we're now following France and Germany.... what have we become.
