The October Surprise.

One of the rather gross things about Presidential elections is the October Surprise. The idea is simple. Find dirt on your opponent, keep it hush hush until October, and then unleash it so it does some last minute damage.

The effectiveness of this approach is hampered by early voting. And we’ve seen pretty regular October Surprises for years now. Sometimes it’s just bad luck and organic, like when Dubya managed to crash the economy months before the election. And other times it’s just unleashing dirt at the last minute.

The surprising thing to me is that this year I don’t think we’ve gotten an October Surprise. It should have been out by now, but nothing really has happened.

One October surprise was that Trump groped Epstein's girlfriend. It fell flat because no mainstream media wanted to touch it. It got reported anyhow and then promptly disappeared.
.
Trump at this point is immune from sexual scandal.

But that book was long scheduled for publication, so no surprise there. The surprise seems to have been Trump's Madison Square Garden rally fiasco. So the question is: can an October Surprise be self-inflicted?
Supposedly the comic who made the "pile of garbage" joke was suggested by Barron. So maybe Barron is a Dem mole?

Good point on the scheduled release of Kelly’s book. But it did seem like many were hoping this would have the effect of an October surprise. It will be interesting to see if the MSG gaffe has legs all the way to Election Day.

Reminding the country one last time why we hate woketards.

Unlike Wanker, they recall when Trump at first refused to send hurricane aid to PR. Said the Times: "As president, Mr. Trump fought bitterly with Ms. Cruz and other Puerto Rican leaders, and resisted sending billions of dollars in aid after the territory was ravaged by back-to-back hurricanes in 2017. He made angry comments on social media and tossed paper towels at Puerto Ricans during a visit that few, if any, have forgotten. He even wondered privately if the United States could sell the island."
Now this. So, tell us, Wanker what is "woketard" about not wanting your home to be called "an island of garbage?"

The only ones that are concerned about that are the ones who want it to be a big deal. It will be forgotten history in a couple more days.

This could hurt him in Georgia, Nevada and maybe Arizona
Don’t underestimate how bad that could be

Criticism of what was said is resonating there among Puerto Ricans. Some have called in to radio shows saying they were going to vote for Trump but now intend to vote for Harris. It's anecdotal so far but could be powerful. There is no doubt that this is not going away.

I’m beginning to think this joke was made on purpose to make Democrats self-emulate yet again. LOLOLOL!!! Earth to Nicky: there’s more Republicans in Pennsylvania than Puerto Ricans.

1) It's not Democrats who are pissed, it's the Puerto Ricans. But continue to live in denial. We know it's your home.
2) So there are more Republicans in PA than Puerto Ricans? So WHAT! There are 300,000 Puerto Ricans and some were going to vote for Trump. But not now. Earth to Wanker, Trump had won the state in 2016 by a narrow margin of 0.72%, Biden was able to reclaim the state, winning it by a similarly narrow 1.17% margin. Biden's margin was only 80,000 votes. Do the math, Wanker.
3) It's not "self-emulate." It's self-immolate. Pinhead.

The White House had to scramble to walk that back. Some intern posting on behalf of Biden says he only meant the comic was garbage.  wink wink

On a very popular morning radio show (Atlanta Market area) predominantly black, this question came up on air and they invited the Latino listeners to weigh in on whether or not the comedian offended them in such a way that it persuaded them not to vote for Trump.

100% of the call ins said not a chance. Most said basically the same thing. They didn't listen to it, They really had no interest in it and didn't care what the comedian said. They still were pro Trump.

Im sure this is the general consensus of most common sense Latinos. Illegals or very low income maybe not but a majority of the legal voters are just fine. Most Latinos (men and women) are not wuss asses for one and not nearly as thin skinned as democrats for another.

Don't shoot the messenger.

But yeah I'm sure bad bunny and Nicky jams followers who are old enough to vote, care to vote or not felons will follow right along. That should narrow it down to about 100 people.
