The reversal of 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell' is now signed into law. The politicos would have us believe that it will be smoothly implemented into the military, because they say so. However, a few things have come to light. Been reading the latest edition of the Air Force Assoc., magazine. In it, there is a full page article on some items of interest that have never seen the light of day outside of the DOD. Congress said the majority of service personnel, (hate that word), approve of reversing DADT. That's a lie.

Only 24% of the surveys were returned to the DOD. Of that 24%, a simple majority said they approved of the reversal. The military Chiefs requested the Act not be put into place until 2012 so that they could have time to 'educate and train' military members on the correct responses to the new way of life. In a subsequent survey, 240,000 respondents said they would leave the military when forced to abide by the  new DADT Act. In this second survey, 85% of those in the combat arms fields, were NOT in favor of changing DADT.

I fully support the approval of anyone, regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation, whatever, to serve, but with a qualifier. Don't try to bring your lifestyle into my barracks, and I will leave you alone also. Can you imagine the ruckus in a USMC enlisted club on a payday night, when two guys start getting lovey dovey at the bar? Holy shit.

I hear ya, but its a done deal.  Besides, homosexuals as a group just are not that aggressive.  People who are that aggressive, straight or gay, will probably get into some trouble for harassing the male or female.  I lived in San Francisco for many years and I was never kissed by a gay person.  Though I was blown a few kisses.  I tried to get my tax money back after living there so long and the city council said kisses are kisses, blown or applied orally.  See, that's what happens when liberal are running the town.  Goddamn liberals.

It's not about getting lovey dovey in the e-club. It's about "you and your lover" being treated with dignity when he or she comes to Walter Reed to visit your blown up, paraplegic, amputee in the name of freedom and the American way ass.

Any of you fellas soldiers, sailors, or airmen?  While civilians can debate this issue all they want, it is the troops who experience DADT and can form an educated opinion.  And before you tell me I don't know what I'm talking about, let me just tell you that Uncle Sam doesn't cover my student loans.
