They pulled out because they got more unhealthy people on board who had pre existing conditions and could not get coverage before. That made their payments overtake premium income.
If the new health care plan whatever it is called retains the pre existing condition mandate, same thing will happen. Difference the FED will go in to more debts as individual mandate will be gone and income from that as tax will be gone.
The aca tax was major source of revenue. It will be interesting too see what happens with the money being left in the pockets of those tax payers that don't pay the ACA tax.
