I don't disagree with you that Trump does not know how to tell truth because he is a CON Man and has to lie but you have to admit that Trump did not set himself on fire this time like last time. I thought Joe hold his ground well and he landed some great punches here and there in the first 45 minutes.
Bottom line is that Trump pleased his base, but I don’t see how he picked up many undecideds. Biden also pleased his base and might have picked up some undecideds if they follow science at all, are into social justice, and/or care at all about children. On that basis I think Biden came out better than Trump.
