Trump can't even get a Springsteen COVER band to perform...

...for his inauguration.  

The B-Street Band was supposed to play the Garden State Presidential Inaugural Gala on January 19th as part of Trump's inauguration.  They booked the gig in 2013 and have played twice for Obama inaugurations.  They've been around since 1980 and play 200 gigs a year.  

Willie Forte, the group's keyboardist, manager, agent and publicist said:

"We felt that we had to make it known that we didn't want to seem disrespectful, in any way, shape or form, to Bruce and his music and his band.  I don't want to upset them.  We owe everything to him and our gratitude and respect to the band is imperative above all else.  It became clear to us that this wasn't working and we just had to do what we thought was the right thing to do and that was to pull out."

Nobody gives a fuck who or if someone performs. This ain't a Lib

event that requires Hollywood, late night talk show hosts, and cartoons. It's not a half time football event that nobody watches.  Grown up people will be watching the event, not LIB clowns tryiing to see the TV screen through their waterfall of tears.

Jennifer Lawrence too

backed out after being called Aunt Jemima and some really vulgar names by her own race.  She was scared.  We all saw what happened to the Dixie Chicks.  And the bullying is very much worse today and has escalated to violence and people are scared.  Why did 8 have to be shot at a MLK parade today in Miami?  little children were hurt.  What is wrong with our people?  Are they losing their minds?

That's sad for two reasons.

1.) It shows they don't believe their talent can carry them beyond their fans political opinions.

2.) It sends the message that they believe their fans are total morons incapable of independent thought. Who can not hold an opposing political opinion, and still enjoy the talents of that artist.

Music is not just technical aspects

No way will I pay for a concert, buy a record, applaud, or otherwise support a racist or a bigot of another kind, regardless of how good the musician is technically.

I stayed a dozen times at the Beverly Hills Hotel, but once I knew the muslim sultan implemented that horrible sharia law in his country, I boycotted it along with many that others.  

No shortage of classy hotels in LA. No shortage of great musicians. Why support bigots and thereby give affirmation to their views and actions?
