It has been one of my favorite poems since high school. I still remember it by heart.

I met a traveller from an antique land,
Who said--"Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
Stand in the desart....Near them, on the sand,
Half sunk a shattered visage lies, whose frown, And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command,  
Tell that its sculptor well those passions read
Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things,  
The hand that mocked them, and the heart that fed;
And on the pedestal, these words appear:
My name is Ozymandias, King of Kings,  
Look on my Works, ye Mighty, and despair!
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal Wreck, boundless and bare
The lone and level sands stretch far away.

"ass facts" so now you are resorting to poetry. I don't understand why you can't recognize a capitalist's lackey when you see one. What will it take for you to denounce the capitalist class for what it is?

After over a year, you still spout "ass fact" as if it has some meaning, even though I have long given up asking what it means and why you consider the thing I cite "ass facts."

GUESS WHAT, MY PUPPY DOG OF COMMUNISM.  Castro just gave an interview saying that the Cuban model aint working.  Google it, pups.

when it comes to crushing communism. How can any economic system work if the US capitalists oppose it? The USSR self destructed for the same reasons. The world is not a better place because of these facts.
So ask yourself "What will the US capitalists do now?" .  In the near future people will wish that the cold war never ended. The new world order is the Islamists have nothing to loose in their fight against the christian capitalists. We will all be dead of old age before this conflict is resolved. So you see Phil In the struggle between Christian and jewish capitalists vs Islamist capitalists who will win? Will it matter? I pick the lesser of two evils and go with the christian/jews and hope that communism makes a comeback.

I am just astounded how you were able to respond with nothing that I was talking about.  It seems you just wanted to spout a commie rant, and it didn't matter was it was a response to.

The article is about how President Obama can't even fill a college gym. The poem is about how a once mighty leader is reduced to a ruin.  Get it: How the mighty have fallen.

And you respond with economic systems???????

Okay, and the price of tea in China is......

Hugo Chavez seems to be the guy who convinced him. Chavez has been pushing Castro to adopt a more economic democracy approach than a communist approach. This idea has been picking up speed in South America for quite some time.

needs it to work. Economic democracy has a chance because most places where its tried are economically viable and dont have to deal with very harsh US sanctions. As soon as these places become a threat to US capitalists the story changes.

in every paper and mass medium,
Television was a baby
crawling toward that deathchamber...
