Tuesday night’s ratings are in. Tucker: 3.3M; Cooper 2.3M; Hayes 1.2M.
Maddow, who came in fourth Tuesday night, was the only non-Fox show to pull in over 2 million viewers. While all cable news channels have seen a ratings drop, CNN’s viewership decline has been the most marked, dropping 2/3 since January.
Some of these points have been covered on TER previously.
1. Tucker's program is not news nor fact based (by their own admission in courtroom testimony), but entertainment. Alex Jones / InfoWars has used a similar defense in several lawsuits. "The competition" and comparisons being made are between "entertainer" Tucker and fact-based commentators Cooper, Hayes, Maddow, et al.: not a real comparison at all. 2. Tucker has no "right wing" competition so the viewing bloc has no where else to go and isn't split. The "left wing" viewership is split among many choices from broadcast, cable, internet sources. What is the sum total viewership of (Fox + OANN + Newsmax ...) versus (CNN + MSNBC + NPR + CBS + ABC + Reuters + ...)? And even when broken down into categories (news; news+commentary; commentary only; ...)?

But do you watch Tucker? if Yes how many hours a week? And for extra points, while or after you watch it are your fist clutched, does your jaw get tight? Are you filled with more anger, or hate? What do you get out of it? More information or??
You should add the other two together as they are splitting an audience.
Had you bothered to do the math, you would see that Carlson’s numbers topped (no pun intended) Cooper’s and Hayes’ combined.

Separating terms: Line 1: Tucker: 3.3M Line 2: Cooper 2.3M + Hayes 1.2M Summing Line 1 (Tucker): 3.3 M + 0 = 3.3 M. Summing Line 2 (Cooper + Hayes): 2.3 M + 1.2 M = 3.5 M Comparing Sum Line 1 = 3.3 M to Sum Line 2 = 3.5 M, it seems ("sums") to me that Sum Line 2 (Cooper + Hayes) is greater than Sum Line 1 (Tucker). That would make the statement that "Carlson's numbers topped Cooper's and Hayes' combined." is incorrect. . Disclaimer: I didn't use a calculator for doing the sums. If someone has access to advanced computing systems, please confirm that "2.3 + 1.2 = 3.5" and that "3.5 is greater than 3.3."
A year over but DirecTV won't let me go. Years ago I started with Directv and AT&T with internet. After the contract the price went double. I said NO. They kept me at almost the same price. The next year the same thing. The guy there telling me to call after that happens and complain and they would work something out. They give excuses that the internet by itself would be more expensive and I have a good deal. So I have stupid DTV that only gets better reception than the destroyed analog to digital antenna reception. Now with internet you can stream and download anything and for free if you can, something I don't try to say when I'm angrily talking to them. You know that in the poor world people who can pay for cable/sat do. They don't pay as much. I guess people pay for stuff in a scale of what they can afford. I hate that here stuff like fixing cars, plumbing and whatever else is sometimes overpriced because we're all supposed to be wealthy. But I get around many things and I know how to spend or as they say, which I also hate, "live within your means". ARRGGGGHHHH!!!!!
