New guidelines were given to the States to help them guard against outside hacking. The States individually run elections, NOT the Federal government. An investigation after 2016 showed there were ATTEMPTS to hack into some States' election programs, but that NO VOTES WERE CHANGED.
There were no reports of any irregularities of suspicious foreign activities in the 2018 elections, so we have to believe that whatever the fix was given to the States by the Trump administration has worked.
Why were there no allegations of attempted interference by foreign countries in the mid-terms of 2018? Is it because the Dems did well, so in that case, interference is okay? Its a fake problem the Lefties are using to give mental midgets in their membership a boner, that's all.
Now what's the difference between the 2016 campaign and the 2018 campaign? Um, the former included a national election for President. And the 2018 campaign's main event was 435 local elections. It's a bit easier to affect a national election than 435 local ones, don't you think? Answer: no. You don't think. At all.
There are no "national" elections. They are all run by the individual states, who then report the results to the Electoral College. If someone wants to interfere, they have to do it at the state level, because that's where the voting takes place. Again, there were NO reports of any interference in the 2018 midterms. There were only a few reports of ATTEMPTED interference in 2016, and those were determined after an FBI investigation to not have affected any vote counts. I thought you knew how this stuff worked. Apparently not, but now you do. Your welcome.
The POINT (to anyone with a brain) was that it's easier to run a disinformation campaign that affects a NATIONAL candidate for President than 435 separate ones for House members. I'll bet EVERYONE else got that but you. You're welcome.

You know very well what is meant by "national" elections: POTUS and VPOTUS. The DNC and RNC run the NATIONAL campaigns. You are just being petty and stupid. . "an FBI investigation to not have affected any vote counts." - LINK, PLEASE!! Most studies and reports that I read about said "indeterminate" - there is no way to be certain HOW MANY voters were swayed, one way or the other, as a result of Russian backed ad campaigns. It may have been zero, 1, 1000, 1000000 or more.
YOU have been "probed" yourself one too many times. Have to ask for a source on this one, or else its complete Bullshit. You are ignoring my point. No complaints about the 2018 elections, so it must be fixed, don't you agree?
