They tried

to push through shit. It didn't work.  

It's crazy, that Republicans can actually think for themselves and vote for what their constituents. The D's voted lock step on Obamacare, and preceded to bleed off 1200 seats nation wide.  That's what happens when you have sheep.

I for one, and it seems most of us on the right on this board didn't like the bill.

Fuck Ryan and his special interest bill.  Should have never let him be Speaker in the first place.  

I'm right there with ya, yes Speaker Ryan, doing big things is difficult, especially when you do it so poorly.

D's still own Obamacare.  That's a good thing from my standpoint.

I'm fed up with all of it.The toxicity of the last two years has exacerbated since 1/20/17 and ...

... I for one have simply. had. enough.

I'm focusing on the things I can do something about.. like finally getting out of a body cast and a fucking wheel chair and back in the saddle of my trike for example. That makes a shit ton more sense to me than expending any more energy lamenting the degradation of the nation to such low expectation we need interpretations of the expectorations of the TOTUS... that's Tweetmeister of the United States. The Founding Fathers are rolling over in their graves.

Maybe I'm just getting old, or maybe I've been reminded recently that you simply don't know how long you've got.
Why waste it blathering over something you can't do shit about?

Wrong. Since the ACA is "the law of the land"...

... as the Republicans put it today, and since they are the ruling party and declined to repeal and/or replace that law when they had the opportunity to do so on their own terms... now it's all on the Republicans.  

Maybe they'll do the right thing, admit Obamacare isn't as terrible as they've made it seem, and approach the Dems to make improvements to the ACA with bi-partisan support.

Or maybe not. But it's nice to dream about.

Not really.  The Dems ALREADY owned Obamacare.  What Trump and Ryan own is failure.  Failure that will make it harder for tax reform to pass.  The Reps whined about O-Care for 7 years, passed more than 50 futile bills to shit-can it and STILL couldn't get the job done when they control the House, the Senate and the White House.
