Instead, they are bringing him back to Tennessee on their own terms - under a criminal indictment that will prove this "Maryland father" was in fact a wife-beating, human trafficking, MS-13 gangbanger. This way also accords the proper respect to President Bukele's sovereign prerogatives: we aren't just asking him to release Abrego Garcia as a favor, but rather to face serious criminal charges in our country. Trump could have put a stop payment on the check and, like a reputable Provider, El Salvador would have kicked the prisoners back to the US: no pay, no play.
