Hi Pittsburgh Board,

I'll be relocating to the Pittsburgh area by the end of the year and was curious about the local hobby scene there.  I see that the TER board isn't particularly active compared to where I'm moving from, so I didn't see this topic in a prior discussion.  What I'm most curious about is what providers use for screening purposes or reference checks when deciding whether to book a client.  

Do you prefer:  
TER review history
Whitelist Referrals
P411 + (#OK's)
Provider reference checks  
Etc....

Finally...  Thanks so much for the reply and info.  

I was told by another MN hobbyist who also spent time in Pittsburgh that TER is not used very much there, which prompted my post.  PM sent.

Just to set your expectations a little it is a bit slow here. I've been here for 3 years, came from Chicago where there was plenty of activity. I've managed to find 2 decent services that often send gals to PGH but the independent game here is really leaves much to be desired. Hopefully you have better luck and if so, share the love.
