Many of you local boys know how much I LOVE my KU Jayhawks!!!  So in honor of tonights big game how's this?????

For every three point basket that KU makes, I will deduct $ 10 off of my donation.  This special will be through the playoffs... So, WHO WANTS TO PLAY??????

So, you gents o mine that I've previously met, that includes off of your grandfathered donation as well.....

I got so excited when I read your post, seeing it was posted BEFORE the game, mutiplying quickly in my head (thinking, maybe they made ten or twelve three-pointers last night), and then I suddenly realized......those Jayhawks played great DEFENSE, but couldn't hit the side of a barn against NC State.....wondering if they made any threes, so I scurried to the Boxscore, and there it was:  ONE  for FOURTEEN  from downtown, a meager seven percent!  Jazz,you get an A+ for cleverness and ingenuity, and congrats on squeaking into the Elite Eight, but your team gets an F in Three-pointers.  Enjoy the BIG GAME tomorrow!

AAAHHHHH!!!!!!

I had hoped they would do better, but the game wasn't that good...  hmm.....   This will work for tomorrow's game as well and (crossing my fingers) through the final four....

Maybe next time I'll do free throws eh??

I disagree. I thought the "special" was excellent. Typical "Jazzy style."  You created a higher level of interest in the game. Hell, I have not kept score in Basketball in almost 43 years. Your special reminded how keeping a scorecard at baseball games keeps the fan in the game. AS for Jayhawks execution, they have for the last couple years never been outside team. They empohasize defense and and going inside. So yes, it was, if you will, a "safe" special. BUT, I know that was not the point. The point was to raise interest and fun!!! For me, Mission accomplished!!!

WHOA great response gents and I am having fun with this; however.....

My special is NOT CUMULATIVE... meaning, when I made the initial special, the three point special was for THAT game, they made one... So if a gent decided to see me he had $ 10 off.   That $ 10 deduction ended when the next game was played Friday whereas they made 4.  So now, until Saturday's game, the deduction is $ 40.

So, for those of you gents who are waiting until the end of the tourney, I am sorry but there's been a misunderstanding.  Due to that error, until Saturday's game I will go ahead and honor a cumulitive $ 50 off of anyone's current donation amount...

Groovy???  

GREAT response gents, sorry I was unclear on the terms... LOL

What a class act!!!

Gents, here is a lady that took the time and the effort to create a "Special" that was fun to watch and anticipate. There was some confusion about its implementation, and she takes repsonsibility amd ownership of her part in the confusuion. Clarifies the confusion PUBLICALLY, and  goes above and beyond and does the honoirable thing,. In mu book this is why this lady is CLASS.

Way to go  Jazz!!! Totally groovey!!
