I once met with an attractive man in his mid thirties a couple years ago.  At the beginning of the session he said he had a request but was reluctant to share it with me for fear that it would scare me away and I would cancel the session.  I reassured him that I'm very open minded and would do no such thing.  I imagined a fetish of some sort or possibly some very kinky role play.  Not a problem!  Then with intense sincerity he pleaded, "Can you please pretend that you love me?  Can you please....please pretend that you care?"  I was so gripped with emotion over this man's need to feel loved.  In his desperate attempt to meet that need, he was willing to pay someone for what he believed would be "imitation love".  The tears streamed down my face and with compassion and great care, I made love to him.
