A Big Hello to our wonderful Phoenix community!  

Boy, its been HOT lately! I hope everyone is enjoying these lazy days of summer! I will literally be in and out this summer, so catch me while you can!  

So, what has Gina Marie been up to lately? Well....

Next week, I'll be attending the Desiree Alliance Conference. We will be discussing sex worker rights, public perception and activism. These are issues close to my heart and I'm super excited to be a part of the positive shift towards change. When I gather with other sex workers for support, I come back more sure of myself with added excitement for my path in life, which, believe it or not, translates into a better session for my gentlemen friends. What I have found is that in developing a better sense of who I am, releasing shame and guilt, I am able to show up more fully, with "presence", in each individual session.  

I was just reading Marty Klein's blog (sexualintelligence.wordpress.com). He says what most people want from sex is pleasure and closeness and a little less emotional pain. Not necessarily huge orgasms, orgies or to discover a new position. Just a little more comfort and relaxation, a little less anxiety and self-consciousness. Honestly, I don't do anything extraordinary during my sessions, but my reviews ARE wonderfully consistent. Simply stated, my desire is to provide more pleasure and less pain...

And now, here is some random info in case anyone is interested...

The movie American Courtesans (AmericanCourtesans.com) is now available on DVD! I just ordered a copy for my sex library! Its a fabulous movie about sex workers by sex workers!
 
And, I just ran across an Australian version of The Sessions. Its a movie called Scarlet Road (ScarletRoad.com.au). Its about a woman in Australia who is training sex workers to work specifically with the disabled community, touching people in assisted living centers as well as their homes. The organization is called Touchingbase.org.  

I think that sexuality is the last hidden frontier to our wholeness and completeness as human beings. One of my favorite spiritual teachers, Osho, advocates going into something fully, examining it from every possible angle...only then will we understand it completely, enabling us to drop the search and turn towards spirituality. I suppose, at the core, that is why I am here...To explore my whole being deeply and unabashedly.
