everybody so far has been charged with a felony of some sort.

they have 7 years to charge you with a felony. (in most cases).

but i dont know if the customers who have been arrested were really just customers or if they were more involved with the organization.

honestly, it's hard to say because there is a lack of similar preceding cases to refer to.

the internet is still new to our legal system and this case will be setting the precedent for future cases.

I read in your earlier posting that for misdemeanors, one had to be charged within a year of the crime. Does that mean that even though DD was busted on 8/5/08, all of the customers with appointments before 5/14/08 have nothing to worry about now? Thank you in advance for your thoughtful comments.

I am not an attorney and did not even sleep at Holiday Inn Express, but it looks like no one else is going to answer you.

I did some research on this a while back and found that there are two factors that MAY extend the date:

1. Time during the subsequent year that you spend out of state

2. Delay in "discovery of the crime" - this is the one that they may use to try to extend to the date to the time they got possession of the list.
