I saw a girl advertising that used to work for divas on backpage.
  I also saw her arrest picture on the MCSO  site and on the mugshot pictures displayed on the news. Anyone else see her picture and find it odd she is advertising and showing her face?After all that is going on and her distinctive tattoos?

I would be concerned about anyone just arrested and advertising.

Could they be a set up now and working with the police?  I guess that's the obvious concern.

I have no info about anything; just wondering aloud.

my concern that anyone who has ever been associated in any way could be implicated and working for the PoPo.

Couple of the past employees who's not on the arrest web site and up and advertising as indys.

I’m a think she should lay low for a while but we all have to make a living. I feel sorry for the poor girl. What happened was not her fault the agency just got to big for their bridges and got out of control. But I’m a no know nothing.

that are in play I'd be a bit concerned about anybody who got caught up in it in any way. Personally I think that everybody involved who's given a chance of any kind will grab it. This was not a "sheriff Joe" special, this was well executed and in depth and everybody who got popped is in a world of hurt.

At this point your not going to see anything public at the "john" level for a few reasons...

1) Grand Jury process
2) Primary goals of the "parent agency" in the process.
3) Order of interest and strength of cases in process...

I'd lay low and be very careful for another 4-5 months at least...

Saw the exact same add and knew the girl immediatly. Altho her rates have dropped to about half what they used to be. This raises a HUGE red flag for me.
Figger one of three things.
1. Its a bait and switch, not her whos going to show up.
2. She really really really needs the money
3. She's working for da man!!!!

Oddly enough, I actually wanted to call and find out!!! I've seen her video on EIA and on the divas site, and while I'm sure shes a good person, she did have a " flake aura " going on!!!

I agree with everyone who pointed out how odd it would be for someone facing four felony counts and one misdemeanor to go right back into the activity that got her in trouble (whether or not you agree with the charges or the law) in just a few short weeks.  Knowing this, why would backpage agree to post her new ad?

The young lady's pics must be recent because they're more consistent with her mugshots than her various agency Web site pics that were taken much earlier.  But if LE is pulling her strings, why would they have her pose nude or even semi-nude?  Are they allowed to push the envelope or outright break the law in order to set people up?

Isn't it also odd how she has already been reviewed--just a day after her backpage ad appeared out of nowhere?!?  How could any TER member have found her, booked her, met with her, and reviewed her all within 24 hours?  And why would TER approve and post the review so quickly?  Reviews may take up to 72 hours to be screened and posted but this one made it onto the review section in less than a day.

Then there's the alias.  It differs from an earlier alias by just one letter.  If you were trying to move on, wouldn't you want to distance yourself from your past as far as possible and come up with a completely new identity, not a minor variation of an old one?

Any way you slice it, it has to be some kind of trap.

and remember she is only being paid for time spent, not what happens.

I think its important to realize that this entire thing is still grinding along in the background. I don't know that "Kat" has any real value or importance...except that she sits at an interesting nexus between very significant targets of interest.

Of all the "bit players" caught up in this she has/had more chips then anyone to offer up and little real value to prosecute, it's very possible to speculate (and thats what it is/would be) that she got a free pass in return for cooperation in ongoing matters.

That would actually make her totally safe from a hobbiests perspective at this point (in no way saying she is).

If you look at mcso.org there were 2 additional busts. The blond certainly was pretty enough to be an escort but all the charges were on the money end of things. At this point I'm guessing that the primary focus is on building secondary cases and leveraging those people with the goal of bringing down new major targets or solidifying ongoing grand jury targets.

IMO the fact that the gal is out and about indicates that the game is still afoot and that much bigger targets are being scrutinized.

as of tonight all her ads are now gone.
