Aliases do not allow for PM's.....which is how we all know this is an alias.
Your comprehension is STILL off. And yes, in THIS business, unlike say, a restaurant or maybe a Dr's office, the onus IS on the buyer to do his research. See, you named the key reason why it would be the man's fault......her wording IS vague and DOES show upsell quality. Further, her review PROVES she plays dirty pool and is slimey. So, yes, you as the buyer have the responsibility of checking reviews, speaking with reviewers if you wish, and asking questions on this and a few other boards dedicated SPECIFICALLY to discussing the services of ALL providers.
The person you need to pose the question, "What is a lot of money to have fun?" is the provider we are discussing. I am not affiliated with her, I don't know her and I have reviews which average upwards of an 8.6 in service. I'm not anywhere near the league she's in. I'm not an upsell and I have one rate for both incall and outcall.
If a guy DOESN'T do his homework and he gets ripped off, he needs to write a review so that other people who DO do their homework don't make the same mistake he made. And he can and should bring it to the attention of his fellow hobbyists here on this board or on the several other boards dedicated to the services of escorts.
Stop making ME the recipient of your anger about this provider. If you got ripped off because you didn't do your homework or were too lazy to do your homework or just didn't have a good time, it is not my fault. It wasn't me who did it to you. I am not an upsell nor am I a rip off. And may I just direct you to the several other posts by MEN.....hobbyists, who agree with what I said. That it is YOUR job to check out the product and make sure the product will do for you that which you are looking for her to do. And frankly, I'm sorry it doesn't upset me that you won't come for a visit. I prefer gentleman who do their homework, who know what to expect who aren't misdirecting anger or projecting their inadequacies on an escort they don't know because it makes them feel better about themselves.

and caught a ripoff waiting to happen![]()
Just another reminder to stick with reputable sites like TER and phoenix411. Regardless of your preference for indie or agency it highlights the neeed to post those occasional "one for the team" occurances. There is a rip-off review up in vegas on her......
theeroticreview.com/reviews/show.asp?id=63719
In her FAQ's she basically states she's an upsell. She says:
(4)
Q: Do you have to tip?
A: Yes, if you want to have fun!
In another area, she states this as well:
Donations suggested are for my time ONLY. These Donations Are Not a Solicitation For ANY Sexual Activity, But Only For a Time & Event Relationship Between Consenting Adults.
You Must Be 18+ To Call Or Have A Date With Me.
( Besides, I LOVE older men! )
Prostitution is illegal in Clark County Nevada
So, it doesn't really look like false advertising to me if you tear yourself away from the photos and read. I'm not defending her, mind you. But, we ladies have words on our website for a reason. ![]()
Megan
Megan, I normally agree with your posts but I gotta side with AZHacker on this.
This lady is classic as to why I hate Vegas.
In my experience it seems that everybody I meet in Vegas from the guy at the gas station to the front desk clerk is looking for a tip or an upsell. That's why I only visit the city on business and tend to patronize the visiting provider while there.
This girl is no different than every other person I met who is actually from Vegas. If her fee is $XXX plus some number then she should state so on her rates page. I've never objected to a provider charging what she charges. But please just say so so I may be able to make an informed decision. Even in this business, honesty is still the best policy. And if you want proof of that, look at the ladies of this fine city who publish clear photos on their website and deliver on their promises. Those ladies get great reviews.
Nevada is the worst state when it comes to consumer rights and that sentiment shows in the general population as well. Vegas in particular makes no illusion that your money is welcome but you are not. I mean, where else are you required pay months in advance for a hotel room during a convention and then have your hotel given away because your plane was late and you did not show up at midnight the day of your reservation? And then they keep your money too. Happened to me at COMDEX 95. And it's legal under Nevada law. I believe this lady’s marketing tactic is just a reflection of my Vegas experiences.
If this lady was selling an actual product or service any other state other than Nevada would side with the consumer on this.
No sir, AZHacker was right on about this. And kudos go to the guy who gave her a ripoff review. It's just too bad he didn't have the courage to use his real name. But he clearly put the review up to warn the fellow hobbyist. That's what TER is about.
Ok. I'm gonna step off the soap box now. Thanks for indulging me. ![]()
BUT.....she did say on her site that she's an upsell. This is where actually reading what is written instead of just looking at the pictures benefits the hobbyist. I didn't say it was right or moral or honest, I just said that she says on her site, up front that she is an upsell.
I agree with both of you, it's playing dirty pool and it's slimey, and for the record......I agree with you on Vegas and I've never been and likely never will go. To me, Vegas epitomizes EVERYTHING that is wrong with this country.
Megan
so we're dealing with both a serious "upsell" on rates and a total lack of service....basically a cash and dash situation.
I think all of us understand the need for "legal boilerplate" however we all seem to have remarkable chemistry with regard to being "consenting adults"
....don't we.
I'm simply pointing out that with 50+ indies and 70+ agency gals who are all known and repected here there is no reason to get hosed....nothing more nothing less.
That's the beauty of being the male in this situation.....you CAN do homework. Plenty of it if you use your big brain, eyeballs and hand on the mouse. Taking one for the team is fine, but don't bitch when it doesn't pan out and the girl has no reviews and it says on her site that tipping IS required for more fun. That was MY point. Maybe she actually is *JUST* an escort, the type that doesn't want to have sex for a living so she jacks up the "tipping" so that she can actually work within the confines of the law. Either way, that guy should have used his big brain and done is research. Which really......is the redundant message with this thread, isn't it?
Megan
was that when you have so many reliable options here in PHX there is no need to patronize the relatively obvious "duds" that might appear (ont aiming this at the many reputable traveling gals like Tiffany etc)......that even includes you sweetie![]()

Just teasing.
It doesn't matter what the point is, really. You probably saved someone from getting upsold and disappointed. I still maintain what I stated earlier, there was no false advertising as the information was in black and white on her FAQ's. If you read what the ladies write on their site as opposed to just looking at the photos, you'll usually get the info you need. Either way, there's no reason why anyone should or would patronize what you call, "Obvious duds" unless they don't do their homework or they prefer "duds." But hey, it's not up to me or anyone else to decide who you or anyone else sees, right? You did your civic duty here, Hack.
Megan
PS For those of you who don't know, Eros is full of rip offs and upsells in this area. It's pretty common knowledge that the reputable girls, both here and visiting, can be found on Phoenix411.net for the most part! ![]()
Thanks Azhacker! You saved me from 2 possible mistakes. This girl and Playmate Megan.
Megan, I would not touch you with a 10 foot pole. You seem to think it is okay to mislead and rip off some guy as long as he does not think with his big head and do his homework.
That kind of attitude is what is wrong with this business. Post a few pretty pictures, write a few vague comments about price, then rip off every schmuck who takes the bait.
Whatever!
hide behind an alias. Both Azhacker (for warning of a ripoff) and Megan (READ the info NOT just look at the pics) are correct. Although I have not met Megan, I would more than welcome the opportunity on a future visit to Phoenix. For you to slam her while hiding behind an alias is uncool.
For getting the gist of my post. In no way do I support rip-offs or upsells. I haven't made it in this industry for three years by misleading men. I appreciate you comprehending the message. As for the aliases, they're a mainstay on this board. Seems like we have an awful lot of men with pussies running around here when it comes to issues. Hacker and I restrain ourselves pretty well, but we always trade opinions with our own names. Gotta respect that.
Thanks for your post, though sweet pea!
Meg
my only issue here with Megans point of view is that all the gals need to have pretty standard "boiler plate" to protect themselfs. The review was a "1" which means cash was taken and NO services were provided....so its a rip off not an "up sell"
You want the standard line that almost every single legit lady uses on her website? And to be honest, it doesn't make any difference, just like it doesn't matter if you touch the money in the envelope before, during or after the appointments starts. If a cop books time with you and you didn't screen or you did and he slips through, you're going to be arrested. Period. Whether you've done anything or not. Counting money, not counting money, having statements on a website or not makes no difference. Here is the standard "Boiler Plate" (or some variation of) that almost every woman uses on her website:
This is not an offer of prostitution. Any money exchanged is for time and companionship only. Anything that may or may not transpire is neither contracted or compensated for and is between two consenting adults.
I don't recall reading that on this little kitten's site. Rather she stated in her FAQ's that tipping was necessary for anything to happen. That was and still is my point. If that guy got ripped off, well that sucks and of course I don't condone it despite some alias' inability to comprehend my post. But, again my two main points on this topic are:
1. Don't just look at the pretty pictures on the website, actually READ what the woman writes. When I had a website, I can't tell you how many hundreds of emails I got every month asking questions that were answered in the content of my website had they just read the shit I took the time to put on there.
and
2. DO YOUR HOMEWORK. Which means that when you see a woman you want to set an appointment with, do your research. Search for reviews, google search the phone number and the email on her advertisement. Check TER and Bigdoggie.net for reviews. Don't TOFTT unless your wallet is a bottomless pit and you don't mind potentially wasting money. With a little bit of research on this kitten, any guy who might've wanted to book with her would have seen that she had a rip-off review and would've passed.
So, that's it. I don't condone upselling or ripping clients off, but this is a sketchy business that attracts a lot of sketchy people, both men and women. So, when you have the opportunity to research, and every single one of you men do, do it. Don't whine when you get ripped off because you won't get ripped off if you do your homework. That's all I'm saying!
Megan
it's a matter of perspective
.......
However, you seem to feel comfortable making an awful lot of asumptions over what someone did or didn't do and what someone did or didnt expect.
But the original point was simply that its not neccessary to take "a flyer" with so much quality talent here locally![]()
Please, do me the honor of not seeing me if that is what your comprehension gleaned from my post. Seriously, I'm not sure how you can be so dense. I'd think it were my communication skills if I wasn't a communicator for a living (and I don't mean this job), but I know better. I'm honored that you won't be partaking of my services, I'd imagine conversation would be difficult at best and let's face it, the brain IS the largest sex organ.
But seriously, I did chortle at your post. Head back to the drawing board, read again and see if you see things the way it seems everyone else did.
Megan
Megan,
First, no alias, this is the name that I have used for my past posts, I just do not post that frequently.
Second, based on my OPINION of what you wrote, it is my CHOICE not to do business with you. So for that you are "not sure how you can be so dense". That is a real intelligent response, someone does not agree with you so they are dense.
Lets look at what you I wrote wrote, just to refresh your otherwise crystal clear memory.
I wrote that the information on the website in question is vague. I see info like "Please call me to setup our date and to chat about about my Rates & Donations" and "If you want quality you have to pay". Maybe I am dense, but this does look like the add is attempting to lure in guys for an easy take, or an upsell at a minimum. It is my guess that if you called, she would not talk about rates or expected service level based on what is paid because of the legal "boiler plate" issues discussed in this thread. It is also my guess that once the session started, a guy would end up paying a lot more for the service level he expected initially, or settle for a lower level of service for the money he was willing to put out.
Then, if that happens, you intelligently articulated that "Guy should have done his homework" and "taking one for the team is fine, but don't bitch when it doesn't pan out" and she rips you off. You seem to think that the onus is on the buyer, and if the buyer gets ripped off then "it's playing dirty pool and it's slimey" but its really the guys fault because he did not do his homework. No fault of hers for posting the totally vague info on her rates.
Also, she does not state that she is an upsell, just that it will cost a lot of money to have fun. Tell me Megan, since you are so intelligent, what is a lot of money to have fun with her? $200? $2000?
And, if a guy does not do his homework feels that he has been ripped off, or if he is doing his homework and spots a potential rip off on the web, what is he supposed to do other than "bitch" here? Call the BBB or LE and explain his situation?
So based on what I read, and quoted above from your posts, I wrote that I would not do business with you or her. That is pretty much what this site is for. For the record, I have visited a lot of providers here, and 95% of them are gems, I just would not take a chance with you.
Also, if you want to discuss brain power, education, career choices or who is more dense, please respond privately. I just do not feel that this is the forum for that.
Aliases do not allow for PM's.....which is how we all know this is an alias.

Look at the hips site and the site on ero's the girls are totally different. Maria is for real

Only a fool expects anything other than what happened to that guy.
Not to say providers who are honest don't do the "Call for rates" thing, and if I was working a tourist town like LV, I would want the latitude to offer different pricing to maximize my tourist dollars.
I'm surprised more providers don't do it here, actually. Tourists pay more than in the know locals for EVERYTHING, no matter where they are or what it is. Higher rates paid by tourists allow providers an opportunity to offer lower rates for locals without comparative loss of income.
Lack of other reviews aside, as that really doesn't tell you everything about a particular hobbyists experience level, the reviewer in question clearly didn't "know", or pay attention, as there are certainly enough warning signs on her site to expect an overpriced upsell experience.
At least.
Hell, she SAYS as much in her FAQS-refreshingly honest, actually. How many providers flat TELL YOU it's gonna be expensive AND an upsell beforehand? LOL!
Pretty much have no one to blame but himself when it all went south in that case, huh? He didn't TOFTT, cause I'd prefer to believe the team would be smarter than that.
It'd be nice if more places got with the flat rate no upsell program like so many providers have here. Would make hobbying on the road a little less sketchy.
But that's what TER is for, right?
One could argue I suppose which has more actual use to an inquiring hobbyist: is she a 7 or an 8, or is she a ripoff or not?
The latter means more to me, personally. I'd take a dozen lackluster experiences over one upsell/B&S/C&D.
Moreover, I don't really care all that much about upsell if I A: Know beforehand so I can maked informed choices and B: get what I pay additionally for.
Hobbying is easy here-we're very spoiled.
Wasn't always so.

If so look at the two sites in no way are they the same girl, and she has never worked vegas only phoenix and jersey.Just thought I would give you the facts
I don't see how you get that from any of the posts up here.
Or do you think this thread is related somehow to your thread before it?
If that's the case-it's not related.
Sparkle in Vegas, not Maria from HIPS. Or anyplace else.
Hope this clears it up for you.
