Most convenient

Don't know if you mean for shopping, gambling, working? But Scottsdale is convenient if you want to do any of these. Also Scottsdale has many resorts and hotels . But, If you want to be closer to the sports venues and downtown area , You would want to stay downtown Phoenix or glendale Westgate which is by the arenas. But again Scottsdale has more fine dining areas, bars, shopping, and casinoes close by than any other areas around Phoenix. hope this helps. Maybe somebody else can give you some more info. Well where did you stay last time? How long are you going to be in the area? I would agree the Scottsdale area is probably the best, but the Phoenix metro area is huge. Anywhere along Scottsdale road as long as it is not to far north in the boon docks and a couple miles east or west of Scottsdale road. Good luck. I wish I could get up to see you

IMHO

I LOVE the N Phoenix area.... Its minutes from down town ( AIRPORT) and Scottsdale. If I happen to drink I can jump into a cab with a fare that does not hurt me. BUT almost ALL gentlemen are GENEROUS enough to never let this even be an issue.

Thats all I can say though.. I may have said too much...
