I recently got back from LA and normally park my car at the shuttle places or take a shuttle but this time I drove and parked in the parking garage...

When I arrived and was walking to my car another vehicle going slow and got near me and a thug jumped out and grabbed my purse!  It happened so fast I was stunned...the people near me got a good description...

The police said they probably had a get away car parked below where I was parked and that they were just waiting for a lone person to be walking by....

I have never experienced anything as scary as this before in my whole life....So ladies always know your surroundings, keep your purse off your shoulders.
I lost a lot! But Thank God, I'm ok and I didn't get hurt!

Wow, that must have been pretty traumatic for you. I am sorry to hear this, but I am glad that you are ok.

I guess we have to be careful in more than one way these days. I am heading to LA in a week and I will certainly keep this in mind.

in all areas of the valley...this time the store had cameras all over and they got some good photos so hopefully they'll be caught soon!

I "ROGER" your warning, but extend it to everyone including men, women, and children.  My boys were walking to Scottsdale Fashion Square a couple of days ago and a couple of thugs harassed them for money and pushed my 12 year old to the ground. Thank god they were not hurt!!!!!  I will never let them walk there again, but I sure wish it were me and I had a taser to send them to the ground peeing their trousers.
