(rhetorical title question...)
"Are you available?"
"Hi are you working tonight?"
"Can you come to my hotel right now?"
"What are your rates?"
"Do you do half hours?"
"I saw your ad, you are hot!"
"Wondering if you do trades?"
"Hi do you take newbies?"
"How much for just a massage?"
"Love your reviews."
Then there are the lewd comments...
This is what flashes over my phone on a regular basis. I try to keep it in my pocket, but I don't always have pockets. I could configure it so it doesn't show these snippets as they come in, but that removes its very convenience for when family and friends text me, and say, I'm driving. I could have 2 separate phones... one for my biz and one for my personal life, but smart phones are expensive, much less the two separate phone carrier plans with Internet service adds up quick. Consequently, I combined those two separate lines/numbers long ago into one phone to simplify things and I'm not about to go back to that bulk.
Kelsi,
I full understand your concerns, Don't have answer but do have a question.
I don't understand why dual SIM phones are not normal in US? Apple does not make dual SIM that I know of but many other do. In Asia it makes it so much easier. You can turn second number off or yet even remove the second SIM. One SIM can be data carrier, one SIM can be voice carrier. Both have different number, both can be on different carrier.
With two SIM you can easy decide when your phone on or off. When you working its on, when not its not yet family and friends can call text other number anytime. Just a simple question for someone who knows answer?
Christine
the phones locked to their systems. A few of them won't unlock them. So they don't even sell dual Sims card phones.
Bastards.
Its little funny,
Even I have dual SIM, I have two phone.
Every Iphone except one I have ever have I buy in US. When I get back Asia I just take to market and they unlock it in about 10 minutes. Then I put Asian SIM in it and it work fine.
But last Iphone I get I bought new in Asia. When I arrive US, nobody will unlock and will not work on US system. Total stupid mistake I make.
I have two Samsung smart phone, both dual SIM. They work fine US but not on Verizon or Sprint. Must use burn SIM pay as you go. Pain in ass carry two phones.
In Asia its more common one carrier is cheap for DATA but expensive VOICE and TEXT. One carrier cheap for VOICE and TEXT but expensive DATA. Thats main reason people dual SIM. One Sim for voice text, one sim DATA .
In Philippines one carrier has cheap data and free all data and messages for FB. I use that as my personal. In China all data is snoop by Chinese government. Thats why you see so many people use encrypted APPS for data and messages like WhatsApp or Viber mostly. I have little plastic baggy i keep SIMs in, I have about 10, lol.
Christine
Verizon and Sprint in the USA use cdma and I believe a SIM card for data. So if you have a GSM asian phone they will not work here.
I recommend using one of those small altoid boxes for SIM storage. It protects them from being crushed and is a convenient size.
You can get a fairly cheap $10-15 ATT go phone from Best Buy then you can unlock it for free prior to starting ATT service. Then you can just have two phones with two different SIMs. They don't make dual SIM carded phones here because in the USA people concentrate on cheap phones due to having to quickly discard the phones due to government surveillance of phones. No sense in having a permanent nice phone. We can't have nice things here due to the FBI.
And "most of society" are idiots. Other than providers of medical care, I can't think of a more noble career than our beloved personal services providers. Thanks Kelsi!
Kelsi, I can totally understand your issue and frustration with the inappropriate text. While I haven't had the chance to meet you yet, I have admired you from afar, (Flagstaff). Once I do get through your screening and am allowed to have your number I promised nothing inappropriate or the wrong times. Follow hobbyists should do the same
