when did they remove mail access for basic members?

i just tried to check my mail and discovered access had been removed.

since i only buy a membership if i really really need to read a review i can be contacted at [email protected]

Moe, you have reviews back to 2002, and over 500 posts on this board!!!  Do you really expect anyone to believe that you are just now discovering that TER mail comes only with VIP, either paid, or through reviews.

Just an FYI.  I just corresponded with someone via the mail feature (as a basic member).  Today, I logged in and it is restricted.  So something was upgraded recently.....

i knew it was working before. silly ter dont they realize keeping basic members out of the loop doesnt encourage subs rather it encourages potential subs to go elsewhere....
