Got this number texting me trying to pose as a "booking agency" but is obviously a pimp.

If do a simple Google search you will find ads in which they pose as the girl and not an agency - typical pimp action.

Buyer beware. 480-200-7491

"Pimp"  "Manager"  'Booking Agency"  "Personal Assistant" -  they are all the same thing!

According to the law, you are right, but personally, I disagree... This can be a dangerous business and there is a definite learning curve.

Many ladies who are first entering this business choose to work with an agency (especially before the internet). Generally, the way it works is that the lady will call into the agency when she wants to be put on the schedule. They set their own hours and determine how much they want to work. In exchange for a fee, generally about 20-30%, the agency will handle all their inquiries both email and phone, perform reference checks (if its a good agency), and handle all their advertising (photos and ads), which is a major expense. An agency will show the girl the basics of the business while keeping her relatively safe. A personal assistant can work in much the same way. The lady is still in charge, she is just choosing to farm out certain aspects of the business.

A pimp on the other hand is someone who MANIPULATES a lady into working as much as possible. He also keeps the majority of the cash.

Psychologically, with an agency or a personal assistant, the lady feels she is in control. With a pimp, she feels he is in control.

Just my thoughts for the morning! Have a fabulous weekend everybody!
