I call the agency. A new person answers the phone. I give them my name. They do not recognize it. They ask who I have seen before. I tell them. They sound unconvinced so I give additional info/trivia about the owner's/provider's 3rd child's birthday.. they accept this enough to book me.
Next time I call they recognize me and things go easy as cake. Next time I call a new person answers the phone..
Is there a list? Is there a mysterious person behind the curtain? What is the protocol?
(This is certainly not a criticism of any agency since in this business discretion is a must)
