pop a bottle of wine,toss a couple of blocks of ice in the jacuzzi to get the temp down and enjoy it after the sun goes down and it's 'only' in the 90's !!!!  BUT no flooding, earthquakes, mudslides, snow to shovel, hurricanes, tornados, etc here in Phoenix.

I'm the kook that moved here from S.F. for the summer weather. This is my season, now I just turned my A.C. on about 30 min. ago.  The thermostat is set at it's highest setting and I will shut if off in about 30 min. more or so.



When the monsoon moves in I will run it a little more and a about 92 to 95 depending on our humidity. When Sept. rolls around and the everyone is happy, I go, darn it.  LOL



But I do hope y'all can stay at a temp. in your comfort zone.

I'm from Monterey, and I too am going to visit Phoenix, but I'm only visiting for the 4th of July weekend. Hot weather---Hot lady---I think I can take it.

grew up in the fog belt and hated it. Middle of summer and I had to use my windshield wipers most of the time. It would be sunny down town and I would drive home and the car would be wet from the fog.



Sounds like a great weekend for you, enjoy yourself and if driving watch out for the cops, they are tough out here.

I went "south for the summer"...lol! In fact I spent the weekend tubing & camping with a bunch of friends at the Guadalupe River in New Braunfels....sunburned my ass{ouch}...high 90's,cool water,tons of fun!!!! I miss Phoenix--but not the summer heat--Texas is a little cooler..lol!!

It's nice and cool here in New Hampshire and the lake waters still have a faint chill in them

...and it was really, really hot, (how hot was it?...) the only way to cool down was to pre-heat the oven to 400 degrees, open the oven door, and then sit in front of it.

favorite and set in the deep end of the pool!!! Also throw ice in to keep the pool cooler. Tada!

Ms. Mya I think I will take you up on the sex part too darlin!!!

and hot DAYUM  it was fun as all get out!!!

started out in southern Colorado then off to Kansas City wound up in Colorado Springs and then drove on to Vegas!!

Next stop is LA for the 4th & then back home next week!!

Headed to Santa Monica for at least 4 weeks yesterday and now I am thinking 8 weeks sounds better. We will see if I am missing my dog too much and am heading home after 4 weeks
