We have finally arrived in 2023. Now that all of the festivities have ended, we are preparing to head back into the daily grind with renewed hope, and fitness and dietary goals that we'll probably give up on by March
.
Everywhere you turn--from the NYT to WIRED--there are articles to prepare us for the new year ahead. Topics on how to be more socially connected in-person, new fitness routines, travel ideas, and the latest tech are cluttering our inboxes and making their way to our spam folders never to be seen again.
But...what about a less discussed topic? Ladies and gents that you have spent time with in 2022 that made an impression upon you in some way?
I'll go first:
I moved to Phoenix at the top of 2020 and the world was quickly overtaken by the pandemic. I met wonderful ladies who I was able to form a collective with and I am grateful for the shared community we created and the warm welcome I received being very new to the city. As things began to return to normal, I met some of the most amazing gentlemen who gave me wonderful food, sightseeing, and adventure recommendations that drew me out of the city and into vast natural wonders all over the state. I am so thankful for everyone I have met and I hope to return a few times in 2023

Favorite quote from a suitor: "My friends think I have an intimacy problem. I contend that I do not. You ladies provide all the intimacy and affection an old guy like me needs."
Favorite taco spot: A toss up between Taco Guild and Tacos Chiwas
Favorite experience: Driving up to Flagstaff and seeing the aspens for the first time. Never saw these where I am from.
Favorite dinner date: Maple and Ash (thank you big guy!)
Favorite date experience: I went to my first Phoenix Suns game and sat courtside!
Two things I am glad I saw: The Grand Canyon and Antelope Canyon
So what are ladies and gents are you grateful for? What experiences have left an indelible imprint on your psyche in the world of companionship?
XOXO,
Olivia Corvisart
