Well, there was that time ....

I had a discussion with a provider on the phone about getting recognized in public, not even an hour later- I was having a photoshoot infront of a well known wall in Phoenix. Honk Honk.... I turn, It's a different provider driving by-waving. The photographer asked me who it was, and I told him. Now he wants a 3 some:)

Have you been recognized in public? Recognized someone else? How was it handled?

About a week after spending some time with Swedish Anna, I ended up seeing her at IKEA (ha!). Of course, I just checked out the view, briefly, and otherwise gave her privacy.

I once saw a well known Phoenix escort outside of Bebe in Scottsdale Fashion Square. I didn't say or do anything. I wasn't sure if she was with someone(family or friend). There was a recent long thread on the general discussion board about this topic.

I have had people recognize me in the grocery before and although they are always welcome to come up and say hi I never approach them. As far as I am concerned they are strangers in public for discretion purposes. BUT I did have an akward situation a couple of years ago with a not so bright guy who I guess was not thinking. I was checking out at my vets office after picking up one of my dogs and a guy (I had never seen this guy by the way) and he had the nerve to come up and ask, "are you Donna Next Door?". I looked at him like he was an idiot and turned back to the vet, (yes the vet is a friend and he likes to check me out himself) He knows, as does everyone else, that Donna is my real name. After the scolding look the guy walked away and my vet was professional enough to pretend he had not understood or didn't care. The guy didn't mention my site but how silly can someone be? He was not very bright.

Dear Miss Tina,

Your pictures are lovely but do not compare to the real you.

You are much appreciated.

My Best,

But you were quiet and did not offer to tie my shoe:)

if I did, I would have.

And, if I recall, I wasn't that quiet the day after ... was I?

Anyway, to answer the original post, here's a blast from the past, from the "other side" of the fence, so to speak. (In that particular thread, I was the "someone" to whom the original poster referred ... and the lady who he sighted was she who replied to my post ... long gone, but not forgotten ...)

Such a long and winding road ....
