Fake Review & Lesson 101

As most of you know I am fairly new to the world of hobbying (although a very quick learner). I woke up earlier this week, just getting back from San Diego & saw what happened to Bailey, happen to me! I was shocked, since I had no idea who this person was writing such personal details about a very imaginated rendezvous. So I checked back in my spam folder, sure enough - there his email lies.

For me it was a reminder that just because someone may appear to have written reviews (an active hobbyist), & vip TER account does NOT mean they are safe, who they say they are, etc. I can't imagine the ladies who don't screen thoroughly. So let this be a reminder to all, to play safe from beginning to end, & you'll be safe from beginning to end.

just how long it takes TER to remove the review if you put in a problem report.......as someone stated this  is a hobbiest site  but we ladies  sure would like some support when we ask admin to help us keep the reviews honest ....it really does not benifit TER  as they lose money  by giving free time to men that would be paying customers  go figure????? welcome home Holly  Sd was amazing I had low expectations going  and thought it would  be just a 5 day relaxing time but  was very busy ....I hope this a  sign that things are starting to turn around in the west coast!

I absolutely agree! I have heard the horror stories reguarding fake reviews, and the time consuming process of getting them taken off. So I am crossing my fingers this won't be one of THOSE stories. Vic, I am so glad SD was amazing for you! But really, that is no surprise, as you are the amazing one....and they  were lucky to have you visiting for the time you were gone. :) Let's cross our fingers - I'm sure this is a sign of amazing things to come! :) I would love to catch up with you this week and hear all about your amazing tour! xo

amazing, amazing , amazing!!!!!!!Holly your so cute you can tell your a newbie  doll  because you are really having the time of your life with this new experience of  being a provider so positive and friendly keep that as long as you can ......I just met with another new gal  Ryan  she is more UTR  and we had lunch and we was lite up  like a christmas tree  talking about how much fun she was having and all the wonderful guys she has met  so far hopefully she will be stopping by here soon  another adorable young woman PS she is on EROS  and yes she is that AMAZING  Im love the fact the new girls seek me out to get advice  my best advice is just to have fun and  when it is no longer fun  move on

I hope all hobbyists make it clear to TER that they fully support prompt removal of fake reviews, and serious, clearly publized discipline of anyone posting fake reviews. If we can't rely on the basic integrity of ads, then the whole value of TER is at risk. Doesn't matter what the fake review says--if a provider says it is fake, it needs to be withdrawn, and if the poster can't supply plausible evidence justifying its restoration, his membership should be suspended. If this is widely understood and clearly enforced, the problem will go away. If it is ignored, the problem will grow and mutate into other problems.

Hugh, I ENTIRELY agree. The stories I have heard about the enforcement reguarding fake reviews, & attempts at bypassing the system is really shameful. If there is a loop hole in a system, there is bound to be people that try to take advantage of that factor. Strength will come in appropriately elliminating all (perceived) weaknesses, and this (which has been pointed out numerous times) is definitely one of them.

So has the fake review been removed yet?

Wonder if admin actually ban the account or only just remove the review.

Sorry about this guy posting a fake review of you Holly. I had an amazing time with you...:)...not hard to figure out who wrote the fake one...only guy Holly has not white listed that reviewed her...what a shame morons do this...

Holly:  first sorry for the fake review, it shouldn't happen to anyone.

On the subject of fake reviews, admin needs to quickly verify and if the review is fake then remove it once it is brought to their attention.  This is a mliscious behavior that once verified should have a swift and appropriate punishment.

Poor reviews are and must be allowed.   But to just make up things is completely unacceptable.

Thanks doll. It really is such a shame! I had such an amazing time with you as well! :) lol Right? That's a definite dead giveaway! Sheesh....now he/she is just insulting everyones intelligence!

I am going to Chicago  so I jumped over  their  boards  just to introduce myself  amonth ahead  of time to get a feeling of their welcome ans saw this post about reviews it was a first I had ever heard of TER doing on a review according to this reviewer he said ....they sent his review back because his scores were not high enough with what she provided his point was they  had no connection  and for him the scores were right so I guess you cannot win as a reviewer or as a provider the proof is in the actual review if you read them......

After just reading what I'm convinced is a fake review of a provider, reading about Holly's situation and reading a number of the other threads on this topic, it seems to me that a way to curtail part of the problem is just make everyone pay for VIP.

I can honestly say it never occurred to me that someone would fake a review just to get their VIP but now I see that was pretty naive on my part. There are discreet enough ways to purchase VIP that shouldn't discourage someone that's serious. No different than submitting to good screening.

What to do about the shill reviews that some providers obviously must be cultivating or writing themselves? I don't know but personally: new provider - 10/10 (or close review) -that's an ignore for me. They've just gotten too hard to believe.

Anyway, I'm still waiting for the scheduling gods to smile on me and give me the opportunity to write a real review of Holly myself :)
