do they take 40 year olds

Based on my experience with assisted living facilities (with my mother), the preponderance of the residents are female. While there was the rare single male resident and even more rare couple, most were single females.

This is pretty representative of the general population in the twilight years.  Women have a longer life expectancy than men (although there is some indication that is changing as women opt for careers outside the home and suffer the same environmental and emotional stress that comes with a corporate career).

It's observational data only, but it seems that being a couple can aid avoidance of assisted living facilities. Two people can stay in their own homes longer into their old age than one.  Some of it is probably mutual support and some of it is pressure from children and real lonlieness that pushes single elders into the assisted living as their health begins to fail.

Wow, I wrote a dissertation... you must have struck pretty close to home with the question Gina But to specifically answer the question, when I get there, I think I'd prefer incall or outcall in a resort and/or hotel and I don't see the little old ladies being very accepting of sex workers on the premises.

I can help you with medical equipment and after we get it set up I'll move in.
Do we get the escorted to line up every night so us old guys get to pick out who we want to spend the night with. And will I get a sponge bath in the morning.
Sounds like a good plan to me.

Excellent Idea

Two and half years ago when I broke my hip and spent 21 days in a rehab center, I would have enjoyed shower days far more if such was the case. I shudder at the memories of those orderlies!!!
