Yes that's right, the Wallace & Ladmo TV show is back on AZ TV (Direct TV channel 7,
On COX Cable channel 13, look for AZ-TV HD on Channel 713 and RTN on Digital 93!,) every Saturday at 6 PM

Okay for those of us that grew up here - no explanation needed as to my excitement but those of you who didn't let me explain.  

The Wallace and Ladmo Show, for those who were not fortunate to live in Arizona from 1954 to 1989, was a children's show on KPHO-TV5 in Phoenix that aired every afternoon.  You would run home from school to watch it. This was no regular kids show however, Wallace and Ladmo spoke to us kids with respect, they spoke to us as equals. Wallace aka Wallboy (Bill Thompson) was the serious one, and Ladmo (Ladimir Kwiatkowski) was the one that spoiled us kids and made us laugh. And let us not forget Gerald (Pat McMahon) who played some many different characters.. Aunt Maude, Captain Super, Marshall Good, Golddust Charlie, Boffo the clown and on and on and on.

This show could not be aired today as it was then as there were so many things that would be considered today politically incorrect.  

So now Saturdays at 6 pm, those of us who grew here can relive our childhood and maybe even see ourselves on tv again.

I realize one shouldn't be this excited about a tv show but truly this is a way I can relive my childhood.
