I actually found her blog to be very interesting and somewhat insightful.
As a side note I'd like to make a comment, not just for providers but anyone facing tough times and rising insurance costs. The real primary purpose of insurance is for a catostrophic scenario. Your better off "self insuring" for anything routine...
As an example a basic bluecross policy with a $10,000 deductable is $67/month for a woman 25-29. A single dependent is $42...so $109/month will provide quality coverage for serious illness or injury. The same plan with a $1500 deductable is $241/month. Compare this to the "blue preferred" plane with a $500 deductable at $429/month. So after 1 year you'd have a savings of over $3800 minus actual out of pocket expenses (which "normally" fall within the $500 deductable anyway.)
I don't think I realized what an amazing collection of sweet and considerate men are here. I mean... I knew... but I didn't really 'know'... until now.
Thank you so much to everyone for the kind thoughts and charming emails!
I am doing very well and in spite of everything, I have a smile on my face thanks to all you wonderful gentlemen.
