Looks like ter adm has changed the criteria of the list. The doubles reviews have been deleted  and minimum number of reviews have been increased to it looks like 20 reviews.  We can debate the validity of the list, for me I use it as a simple starting point of my research when visiting a city I wasn't familiar with.  However, 20 reviews to qualify seems to be just a little bit high.   I think if a lady has 10 stellar reviews, she should be on the list.

However, for all the great local ladies, who've been around for awhile, and have many pages of strong  reviews the old top 100 list was statistically unfair.

I think it evens it out a bit requiring more than 5 reviews for the top 100 ,it gives a better idea of consistency ,not to mention some of the ladies who as you said have a large number of strong reviews
to the attention of someone who might have overlooked them before :)

They could make a list of the "Top 10" newbie providers?

How about a 'Top Provider of 20##', sort of like an MVP of the year.

I noticed some providers that had lesser ratings earlier in their careers that pull down their current standings, and some that have recent lesser reviews, but maintain a higher position.

This could help everyone see the trending, and give providers a great marketing tool...
