To All the Sugar Baby's and Providers On Snapchat

Tons of providers and sugar babys posting pics of drugs on instagram and/or snapchat and/or facebook (i.e. marijuana which is illegal under federal law) and pics of them holding either their gun or the gun they bought for their "boyfriend" --- don't.  This clearly violates 18 U.S.C. 922(g)(3), 27 CFR 478.11.

The government wants only drug cartel members to have firearms not "habitual users of controlled substances"!

If I remember correctly, alcohol prohibition made that drug illegal too, and just like marijuana prohibition, no one cared. Wine companies were mailing syrup that could be made into wine with the addition of water and sugar. They were circumventing the laws too.

While local police and feds were dumping out booze and going after the law breakers during that prohibition, speak easy’s were popping up everywhere. People just made home stills and brewed in their bathtubs. As soon as one speakeasy shut down, two more opened. Prohibition ended, because no one followed that law. It’s impossible to enforce a law so many choose to ignore. A war on marijuana like heroine and Meth is a waste of time, money and resources and to add to that, you can’t legislate morality.

Smart states are passing legislation to legalize marijuana in their state, because the smart states are realizing the tax revenue will help them and reduce incarceration costs for simple possession and distribution of small amounts. You can post as many links to federal laws as you like, but a growing number of voters really don’t care that people like to consume cannabis. It will be federally legal with in the next two presidential elections, or it doesn’t matter anyway.

Even if the DOJ does decide to go after states with recreational use laws, they probably won’t do anything about medical card holders. And if they did, the black market is so large, people would still get it on a daily basis like they have for the last 50 years. There’s no there there. Thank you for the post. It made me laugh a little

Marijuana is terrible it affects neighbors in apartments by going through walls.  Causes wheezing and allergies and it also drains energy and makes bystanders tired and cough.

This should be illegal at least it gives agents something to constructively work on instead of hobbyists.

if people don't understand by now the laws of the internet - let them go down.  It's on them, not me.

The anti drug campaign makes (made) far more money than any type of gun prohibition will / would.  Having been immersed in the weed world, I know better than to carry a firearm.  I CHOOSE not to, but IDGAF if it takes my girlfriend 30 extra minutes to figure out which cute lil gun she wants to carry in her ankle holster.

(Ok, I lied.  She had a gun in the car, one on her shoulder harness and had to decide did she want her cute little pink gun or the new one from Tiffany's.  That kind of pissed me off actually LOL).

Individual choice is precious to me.   No matter what laws are passed, there will always be a jackass with a gun.  Until they restrict such laws, it's easier to get guns than it is to get weed.  The weed world will flourish no matter what is passed in the next few months.  We bend like willows and adapt.

Affect change that you want to see.  If the gun laws bother you, be an advocate and go do something.  Posting here just raises the ire of gun carriers, which are prevalent in this state.  If some young dumbass wants to post pics of her shit all out there on social media who cares?  It's not me.  Just low hanging fruit begging for LE to come knocking one day.

Just my thoughts on this early Monday am.  lol,

Wake and bake baby, just make sure you don't' have a gun and follow the laws in your region.  LOL

xoxo

To you maybe. The majority of people I know smoke cannabis (and have for 30 years). Even now that it has become medicinally legal in AZ, more people are opening up that they enjoy it. My friends wife who used to smoke before giving birth to her daughter, already announced to her 18yo that if it becomes recreationally legal, she will use it. I'm sorry you have such a negative view of cannabis, but this is a live and let live situation. I don't drink at all. Not a drop. I can't stand the smell of alcohol, or how it affects people. But for my entire life, I have had to accept the fact that everyone I know drinks and enjoys alcohol. I grew up in a state where neighborhood bars were open till 2am and had to listen to drunkies shouting and stumbling every weekend. The last time I was in Tempe, some drunk college kids threw a big gulp at my work truck when they got off the bus. God I love alcohol...NOT! But there is a bar on every other corner and restaurants serving it all day every day.

If the smell becomes an issue in apartments, there already are affordable air purifier Ionizers that removes smoke particles and smell, as well as alergines and mold. Growers have used them to hide illegal grow rooms in apartments for decades. Some people enjoy edibles and vaporizers which produce no smoke, or smell. I personally have visited local dispensaries for over a year, which are located next to other businesses and have never witnessed a negative issue with patrons, or adjacent businesses. I do understand your dislike for it, but your arguments are very personal and one sided I think.

Here I can tell you first hand my simple experience.

In my country where I come from, almost impossible for regular person get a permit to have a gun.  In fact there is no such thing as a permit to carry a gun unless you are police or something like that.

That being said weed and many other drugs also against law.

Every drug dealer and criminal in my country has a gun, but regular people not permitted it. They are easy to get I guess though I dont know. Just not legal to get.

Also in my country though there is huge war on drugs and here is not place to debate it, drugs are easy to get.

My point is no matter the law, both easy to get in my country, and here both easy to get. If stupid enough to post on line breaking the law that is on them.

For those who your post pertains to they are simply telling on their selves.

Now, I reside in SoCal & marijuana is not illegal.  AZ, is a right to carry state & if I am in AZ best believe I am utilizing my right.  I do not agree with those who are clearly under the influence with loaded weapons.
