Jackie from TLC here.  I have only had to contact them for a reference once, but I also had a problem getting a response, in fact I seem to recall it took the better part of a week, (which was too late to be useful)  In general, I much prefer being able to contact other providers for screening purposes. Being part of a close-knit community, fellow providers seem to have more respect for the fact that we rely on efficient responses because our safety and livlihoods are on the line.  That's my 2 cents.
