I really didn't care about mods vs cruise directors or the attempt to provide a kinder and gentler environment, but the rewriting of history that is going on goes beyond the pale...

We've all seen posts that clearly violate well-known rules, and in a couple of extreme cases, posts that went beyond the pale. But the multiple recent cases of deleted posts were nothing of the sort.

If posts get deleted for serious rules violation, management should post a clear statement about the deletion and the importance of the rules. If management wants to delete posts that aren't serious rules violation, it should just announce that it has no interest in supporting open discussion among the membership. This would save the rest of us a lot of time

Yes, this site is moving away from what we had going. There was some things that weren't fun, getting slammed on the main board for one, but we lived, learned and adapted. NOW? They want to manipulate and censor to whatever new standard that we have to adjust to. Also the banning of certain people for minor violations seems extreme. I will also check in, but not as a VIP when my time is up. Thanx
