I know I'm new to the area but I've been a TER member on and off for the last 12 years at least. Tried contacting several of the better known providers here in the PHX area but haven't had hardly if any respond, save a few. What's the matter with the TCB here in AZ? I don't get why responding to inquiries is so uncommon and what does a hobbyist have to do to get a top tier provider to give him the time of day.  

At least the ones I've gotten a response from have been friendly and cordial, but am I to assume that the hobby is so hot that some providers can't even be bothered to respond anymore? Or is it just a PHX,  AZ thing?  Either way, quite a disappointing foray into the AZ hobby world so far except for a few bright spots. My  recent reviews would reflect that, however, even so a couple of those save for Dinah have become flaky as well. What's up with that?  

I'm not being a WK. Just hasn't happened that way with the ladies I see in Phoenix. Maybe, check out my reviews and try some of them.
I'm sure there are plenty of flakes too. I was in Las Vegas last week and the board had guys complaining about NCNS multiple times. But, I guess i have a good picker, hasn't happened to me.

Now I'm  in Dallas with over 700 active providers and the board that shall remain nameless is full of similar things. Again, my choice in ladies seems to be right on.

Maybe you have just found the small group of ladies that are out of town or some that have other jobs and don't reply straight away.

I think maybe sometimes the providers don't have their settings set so they get notified when they get a message here on TER. And I don't always come and check, relying more on direct emails. But, no excuses. And like Lexi said, I don't have an email yet! Haha!! Hope your luck improves. Keep trying! There are good girls out there, I promise!

Thanks to all you beauties that responded and PM'd.  
My beef is with those I tried to contact that behaved unprofessionally, that couldn't be bothered to reply or confirm contact. And the one particular who replied then stopped communicating after an appointment was attempted to be set. Having been in the hobby long enough to have seen the best and the worst kinds, I'm disappointed that some of the mid-priced providers I've contacted have been so shallow and calloused about their prospective clients' time and can't bother to accept or decline an inquiry for an appointment in a timely manner, if at all. And that there were so many of them in such a short amount of time since I moved to PHX just doesn't give me the warm fuzzies about the quality of providers in my budget range.

In my limited experience over the past 20+ years in the "hobby", I find providers over 40 to have the best TCB skills, providers between 30 and 40 kinda 50/50, and providers under 30 too busy with their social media and their dumbphones (the smarter the phone, the dumber the owner) to be able to discern the serious hobbyist from the OMG! fanboi (or gurl).

I've actually had younger providers respond with nothing but emojis and TLAs and had to ask for a translation.

At my age, the able to communicate, build rapport, and empathy work better than any of the ED drugs..... unfortunately, those skills seem to be diminishing, being replaced by, "OMG! I got 10,000 likes on my last YouInstaTwitFace post!"

I have traveled and hobbied in foreign countries as well.  This past summer I saw a 20-something agency lady in Montreal that turned her phone off for the entire extended appointment.  My ATF here in the states is a 40-something from Germany and she will be the death of me yet - at least I will go with a shit eating grin on my face!

I wish it were so. Unfortunately in my hobby experience here in AZ it has been across all ages. From 25-45's. The only factor that seems to affect the TCB seems to be the price range. Maybe the popularity of the mid-range providers afford them the luxury of being so nonchalant about the TCB that they could ignore several attempts at contact from a guy just because they're too lazy to screen a new client or are they just so damn short on the supply of pussy out here that they can afford to just blow  me off without blowing me first?
Never had so many flakes in one place. And I've hobbied from FL, GA, AL, MS, CA, TX, UT, CO . Only in AZ have I experienced so many failure-to-reply's, and here I thought that CA was the land of the fruits, nuts, and flakes. Turns out my foray into the hobby world of AZ might prove that wrong too.

I guess its hard for me to compare the "TCB" issue from my side of the fence. As a new and somewhat part time provider to the Phoenix area, I can say the following.  I have not had a single problem so far in getting references from other providers. They have answered my emails quickly and I appreciate that so much.

Had two top rated providers flake on me in the same week 3 weeks ago in LA!  Both were more experienced, and had a ton of positive reviews on TOS (which does not screen reviews, the main thing I like about TER).

You just chalk it up to the "hobby", and move on.  

I will say that I've had the best experiences in North America in Montreal, and the USD is very strong to the CAD right now - planning a trip back soon -

I guess that depends on your definition of "Timely".

I catch myself worrying very much about being timely enough.  

It has sometimes taken me a couple days to respond to inquiries.

I do make it very clear I am very part-time, have a very busy schedule and booking is done through my assistant (this is because I'm either on the clock in my day job, in class or in a session - or in transition) so communication for me I find to be such a huge challenge, which is why I retained a PA.

Making matters a little worse, my PA is part-time (best I could afford) so I know sometimes messages go more than a few hours before being responded to.  

Is that "timely enough"? IDK.

This is a wonderful business, just so hard when its only one small facet of what is otherwise a very full, busy life.

In order for me to continue to truly enjoy my work, I need balance in my life. Whenever I have tried to do my own screening/scheduling I very quickly became burned out and wasn't able to bring the best of me to my experiences.

I know I am at the high end of the rates for providers here in AZ, but that cost increase allows me to employ a full time assistant. My inquiries are being responded to in a timely fashion. Additionally, I am not stressed out, and I am therefore able to be at my best when I meet someone new. I do have an introductory text or phone chat once they are scheduled, but we are not discussing screening info...we are just getting acquainted. As such, I generally don't know anything about them unless my assistant directs me to review the verification correspondence.

A full time assistant is a business expense which is reflected in my rates. Thankfully I found someone AMAZING that I trust, and that is priced reasonably.  I guess my advice is that you get what you pay for in all things in life. Perhaps you might have different (better) experiences if you reduce the frequency of your visits so that you can sample ladies in a higher price range who employ administrative support.

Fellas, at the end of the day, this is a luxury expense...not a necessity. I don't know about you, but when it comes to the things I treat myself to as a luxury item...I spare no expense! I'm the only one I can count on to really pamper myself!! I will stay home and cook my own food all month so that I can treat myself to a Michelin Star restaurant & a five star hotel once a month rather than go out to eat at Applebee's/Chilis etc twice a week and a crappy happy hour with my coworkers every Thursday.

I'll be the first one to agree with you that variety is AWESOME...but I refuse to spend the money I set aside for my luxuries on anything I won't remember fondly in ten years. I'm collecting amazing experiences, adventures and individuals. If I would throw it away after a year of not wearing/using it, I shouldn't have spent the money in the first place.

Maybe you're asking questions that are answered in a providers listing or on her website. Maybe in their eyes you give low ball reviews, let's face it a lot of better known providers roll over and die if they don't receive a 10, 10 review lol

Between my p411 and ter profile all pertinent information for a hobbyist is listed. I clearly state in my auto response what is needed for screening, I also state I will not respond back without that information.  

When a hobbyists sends a message asking for my rates, an outcall appointment at 11pm or how I'm spending my day, the messages usually get deleted. I've found through experience if I send just ONE cordial email back it opens the flood gate for numerous asinine messages in return.

Regardless of whether it's a churn and burn provider or a provider that has a busy civil life,  we don't have time to respond to bullshit requests day in and day out.  All I can say is make sure the questions you are asking are not already answered somewhere.

I think lots of girls are traveling. At least all the ones I know. It's seems when schools out and it's so hot we all want to be somewhere cooler. I'd try again if I were you. Don't give up on Phoenix. Everyone is so nice here.
