When I leave a voicemail on a provider's phone, I make it clear not to call me back. My phone is not secure most of the time. I say that I will try to call again later or use e-mail. Two providers failed to understand this simple message. Some time ago Terri Kares called back and my SO picked up the phone. I had to be quick on the dodge. Just recently Amy of Arizona Massage did the same act. Why are there such basic communication mistakes?

makes it easier for you, could you perhaps utilize email?

If you are able to post on TER, I would assume that you might have access to a private email account.  Many providers prefer contact via email and it might solve your issue re:  telephone contact.  If none is ever made, then perhaps none will be returned.

Good luck!

don't call from one she has access too!!!  Hello?!?  We live in the age of pre-paid, throw-away cell phones that can be set to be silent and accept voice mail.

That would be the common sense thing to do and most every guy I know has that covered. The problem is that 'the Prince' is sorely lacking in common sense and he's also waaaay too cheap to buy a prepaid phone. (Ask the providers who've blacklisted him...and if you don't know who he is feel free to contact me and I'll tell you.)

He has a cell and home phone... I know because I have both numbers and have always wondered why on earth he would ever let his cell be in the hands of his SO.

Ladies should respect this. I know a lot of ladies who could care less about discretion and make call backs just from Missed calls in their call log. Tacky Tacky and bad business.

Some providers do not have e-mail. I wish they did.

you frequent providers with no email!  DOH!

IT's all good, luv.  Perhaps I am mistaken, but I believe that the two providers you've mentioned both have email - hmm.....

so, it's either a SW or CL situation we have on our hands here (with no email) and I am just surprised that you would question THEIR lack of discretion.

It all makes sense luv.  If you want discretion, then perhaps you might wish to migrate up the hobby ladder a little bit - us girls with computers and a little knowledge of tact might be able to offer a little more substancial experience, not just BCD - but overall...  and utilize your pc.  It can be such liberating experience.  ;)

Be careful,
Jazz

I have never had a SO answer a phone call...If I am told that it's ok, I always ask "Did I call at a bad time" this gives you the opportunity to say yes, I understand then you can call back.

I NEVER call back a number on my missed call list.

Sir if you have had a problem like that with me some time ago you could have called me, but you are wrong on this one as I have never spoke or had a SO answer before and if this would have ever happened I am smart enough to know how to handle the call......
I would have said is Mary there or Kim or Janet there...then it would have been a wrong number call.

If  you would have called me and said not to call believe me sir I would have never called back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
