Thanks for including the 'illegal' part.  Almost always, curiously, omitted!

especially in the health care field.  Most immigrants use the emergency centers and then all tax payers pay for it in higher health care premiums or in subsides from the state to help out the hospitals.  My 2 cents worth.

Be it one or one million demonstrators why would any U.S. citizen be concerned with any foreign rally regarding domestic immigration polices.  When a majority of our citizens have expressed their opposition to any amnesty program regardless of it’s packaging, why should our State or Federal Representatives pay heed to these foreigners position.  And when these representatives bow to this political pressure is this not a form voter disenfranchisement.  As I remember the constitution “We the people of the United States…” and all the rights and representation established therein, pertains to its legal citizens does not extend to people beyond our national boarders.  But I'm sure all attending this demonstration will be U.S. citizens and the media does love a parade!!!

I know how illegal immigrants can clutter up the system as far as work, healthcare and -- definitely -- on the freeway - wink!  However, I must admit that I feel a strange sense of sadness for these people. I know that if I lived in a country where I couldn't feed my family very well and there was an opportunity to gain employment and live better then I would probably be crossing the Rio Grande, too.

Hugs,
Ciara

Oh yes, and I wonder what the price of gas was back in 1903?

No reward for those who enter this country illegally.
P.S. I want to burn some foreign flags.

you know as well as i do, that soooo many of these illegal fucks suck off of you and I in so many different ways that its mind numbing!  For starters: Healthcare. How many doctor visits, hospital visits, do these illegal Mexicans make each day that you and I and everyone on this board pay for? Tell me!  Unisured illegals driving our roadways, crashing their unisured vehicles into other legal idviduals who are insured? Guess what, that just cuased and increase in your rates and mine!  In addition, did you know that if your and illegal and you wish to attend and American college or university, that any illegal is not required to  have to pay out of state tuition!  How the fuck is is that fair?

But then again, I guess my rationel on this issue stems from being self employed and not sucking off the system like so many of these illegal parasites do.

Based on the genetic evidence and fossil record you could say there is no real “Native American”.  This evidence reflects the migration of the North American Indians through central Asia then into Siberia and the Arctic Circle over the Bering Strait land bridge down into North America.  When you track back far enough the origins of our “Natives” is the same as the evil White Europeans who we all love to hate so much.

it was a 7-8 car accident that was started by an illegal with no insurance & drunk to boot....I ended up paying my own deductible of $500.....luckly no one was seriously hurt...but everyone had to pay their own deductible and probably the cost of a rented vehicle also.

Is wasn't that long ago that the gov. of AZ paid $20M or $120 million to hospitals that were going broke because all the illegals were using the emergence ward....that is usually a $300 bill minimum.   It wouldn't surprise me if the state makes that payment every year.  If the average illegal makes $10/ hr working some form of construction...then guess what they are really costing us when you factor in all the other things they don't pay for.  The employers of these workers are the ones that benefit even more...they get cheap labor without having to pay the other benefits....this is why the state is finally attempting to monitor this and hopefully do something.

The cost of health care for illegals & or documented workers from Mexico should be paid for by the Mexican govt.  The petroleum industry in Mexico is owned and run by the federal govt....they could send petroleum to cover this cost...I feel that this should be a part of any negotiations concerning the illegal issue.

My 2 cents worth!

There's also a humor board.  Perhaps the Phoenix board should be used for discussions of the hobby in Phoenix.  Crazy idea, eh?

Given our strategic location within the debate I can’t think of a better place to discuss this issue!!!  I was disappointed this wasn’t brought up until now.

the cost of an American worker...and then no bennys on top of that.  Most illegals do not get overtime either....alot of illegals work by the day.  When you factor in the reality that all the withholding never gets refunded by the govt....you can see why certain depts. of the govt....don't care about fixing the problem.  If the housing market ever takes a big dip ( hopefully not ) you will see more illegal aliens than you can imagine standing on the street corners looking for work...that are working in the landscaping and housing industries right now.

First, you don't know me and certainly don't know about my tax situation. What an ignorant assumption on your part to comment about someone you've never met. Second, I do pay taxes . . . a lot. So, before you start assuming something that you're not familiar with, look at yourself and how your comment resonates with hatefulness. Thank God I have --  what did you say -- "a bleeding heart." Perhaps I'm more sympathetic to people in general than you are. That doesn't mean I'm for the illegal immigrants or against them. Read the post again. It's okay for someone to occasionally be stuck on an issue. Gees! People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. Wink!

country ALREADY HAS immigration and naturalization policies into effect.  It is regulated to to control the amount of people coming to be consistent with national interest-  not a free haven for every illegal who WANTS to live here and make a living illegally. It is "romantic" to read the history and ideals of our founding fathers, but we need to meet the modern challenges and realities of today (where some of those old ways are sort of obsolete).

We need to have reasonable immigration that regulates the numbers of people naturalizing so that it does not present an overwhelming burdon to our society. It is easy to overlook these policies now, because we are not feeling the fanancial/crowding impact of this quite so much, yet.  But it will eventually become very noticeable- but by then it will be way out of control.

I keep hearing how great illegal immigration is for our economy, but very few bring up the hospital (no insurance) situation or the driving without insurance. I saw a pro-illegal character on tv the other day saying "99% of illegals have a job" Oh really? That's higher than the citizens of this country. I don't think so.
