Thank You So Much For Your Prayers

I just want to say to everyone that your thoughts and prayers have been appreciated. My dad was getting ready to come and pick me up from the airport last week and he was killed in a head on collision. He died shortly after the wreck so he didn't suffer very long.
My heart has just been broken over this as we had to plan his funeral instead of fixxing him his favorite desserts.
This morning was the first day I got on the internet and just seeing the posts and the reads and emails, it has overwhelmed me. I am so thankful to have you guys and please continue to pray for my family. I do plan to return to Phoenix Sunday, December the 3rd and I will be so ready to see you guys.
You have my heartfelt thanks,
Belle

Such a horrible thing to happen to such a nice person. I can't imaging how you must be feeling right now but am glad the support from the Phoenix community reached you.

Belle I am so sorry for your loss. I will always keep you in my prayers. I feel the pain that you're going through as I lost my mother on her birthday Jan 11 and my brother Aug 25 all of this year. I have had such a roller coaster year and the only advice that I can give you based on that is cry, cry and cry and you will every time you talk about him, hear one of his favorite songs, a favorite movie and you will see people that look like him and even harder is now during the holidays (as this is my first too)

Time is the only thing that helps you get you by not that you will ever forget him, but time helps you cope better!

you have many friends here that care, I was over whelmed by all the love and support I received and I am forever grateful for that!!

If you want to talk and a shoulder to cry on, I'm there for you, only if I can cry on yours too! This may be good for both of us!

Much love and many prayers to you and your family.
Always,
Terri

Condolences seem inadequate in view of such tragedy, but are offered from the heart. You have friends and support here to  call upon during the days ahead.  Wishes to help you find peace.

It is always difficult to lose a loved one but even harder during the holidays.  You said it yourself, he didn't suffer and now you have an angel looking over you.
I am so very sorry for your loss.   Please let me know what I or anyone else can do, but know that you are in everyone's thoughts and not alone.

Sweetheart,

Everything has been said in the previous posts to you already. I just wanted to show that I was thinking of you and we will be here for you. There is nothing I can say or do really that will make you feel all better, except showing my support.

We've not yet met but my heart goes out to you and your family.  Right now it may seem the cruelest trick of fate that you lost your dad during a holiday.  It may seem as though it is only his loss that you will ever feel as the holiday rolls around each year.
But somehow it isn't.  I lost my Mom a couple of years ago while accompanying her on the flight to take her home after a Christmas with her grandkids.  Her heart just gave out while she was in mid sentence talking to me about the great time she had with my sons.  The next year was predictably very hard and I will always think of her at Christmas, but I will always know that she left this life thinking of those she loved the most.
It seems very likely that your Dad left in a very similar way.  He was after all on his way to you.  Nothing is as joyously anticipated as a reunion with your child.
May peace and comfort be with you and all your family.
