I have to disagree with you AZ Misty.... I have used Bruce in the past BEFORE the photos I have out now... I just saw him today for a wonderful photo shoot.... Please email me for an untouched picture.. or many if you would like... That were just done today in his studio.... He does a wonderful job... and is not big on over airbrushing... My pictures will hit the internet by Early next week.... And I love them just the way they are... He told me he doesn't need to do anything with them... So I need to defend him... You should try him.. You would love him.. Great guy!

Thanks but no thanks Brooke.  I have seen his work and sorry but the airbrushing is why too much for my taste.  I don't do ANYTHING to any of my photos - so they guys always get what they see.

While other ladies shots he has done, it has been mentioned by guys in reviews that she is different in one way or another.  

AND I have personally seen a gal who pics he did and saw how much was "done" to them.

It's great that he has felt he didn't need to do anything to yours but his pattern in the past hasn't reflected that.  But that is based on what I have seen personally AND what has been said in reviews as well.

I understand where you are coming from and that is your personal opinion and observation of other woman... As I said I would be more than happy to show you all of his work he did with with me today.. 400 shots.. Not one airbrushed or touched and they look incredible.... I am more than happy to send you one to view... or two or three.. They will be out early next week... I just want to say something good about someone I have known for a while and I know from personal experience (my personal experience) maybe not other women.. That he does not do this photo retouching to extremes as you are declaring.. My photos that are out now where not done by him... But the ones before him where Bruce.. And I went back to him because he is the best and is very tasteful and conservative when it comes to airbrushing or touching up ... Perhaps if you have a scar .. or something you may not like... Or a tatoo.. but besides that... I always look exactly who I am at all times from my photos even from the ones that are 0ut now.. Which did have some retouching.. But once again I still look the same.. I believe that you should always look like your photos and never mislead any gentlemen....So I wish you luck.. And Maybe one or two people you know you feel they were touched up too much... Maybe they requested it.. Bruce is very conservative.... And will not do anything unless he feels you need it.... Once again if you want me to prove his untouched work I can send you a picture to your email address... let me know.. It appears your mind is made up about him.. But I don't agree... I wish you well.. Stay safe.. And keep being you .... your terrific!

I have resent one of my untouched photos... You can compare it to the photos on other sites... He did nothing to my body or face... Other than put a little more white in my eyes.. I had 2 hours of sleep the night before my photoshoot.. Erosguide.com will have all my new photos up tomorrow.. TPR already has them up.. Cityvibe by tomorrow or Monday.... I just want you to know that not everyone needs a bunch of airbrushing and I am one of them... And alot of woman do not appreciate that you think they are all airbrushed... There is some of us with natural beauty.. And if Bruce from Dreamshots enhances some women.. What the hell is wrong with that??.. As long as it still looks like you... You need to take a chill because putting photographers down and women (in general down) is pissing everyone off.. Nobody is perfect including yourself!

Airbrushing out 2-3 tattoos would be considered a touched-up photo.   Or did you have your tattoos removed some other way?

I am not quite sure where you got this from Misty. The only thing Bruce did to my photos when I did the shoot was to take a scar away from my butt and he changed the color in the entire photo, like most of us would do; change lighting, color etc in the entire photo as a whole not a specific area or so.

I think that many times it is on the request of the lady herself to have it re-touched, not that Bruce does it automatically. There are plenty companies out there that offers this, so to say that Bruce in general have touched-up photos is not right. It could have been anyone, if anyone at all.

Misty, what is with you that has to be so HONEST all the time, almost like you KNOW it is a FACT what you speak? Have you done a shoot with Bruce? Not as far as I can see. So how in the world do you know that is is general knowledge that he re-touches his photos? Do you know Bruce?

Nothing personal Misty, but I am just getting a little tired of you speaking for the masses, when it is your own personal opinion but making it sound like everybody knows a certain thing.

Like we talked about before. This is my personal opinion and you just say you are Honest. Honesty is not equal to being tactless or knowing the facts or the truth.

You are entitled to your opinion and I am entitled to mine.  But I do know for a fact, in particular one lady (whose name I will not mention) whose photos he took and SHE shared with me what all Bruce had done to them.  AND in a review the client right after they were taken & posted, even mentioned how different she looked from her pics.  

So I am just stating what I know from my experience thru another lady.  And no thank you I have a photographer I am very happy with that does absolutely NOTHING to my photos - no color change, lighting, just fuzzes out my face so as to be discreet.  

Sorry if you don't like my honesty.  AND since when were YOU given the title of speaking for the masses??

I am honest.  I do know for a fact what I see with my own two eyes.

I feel the need to part in this, since I have myself used Bruce several times for my pictures. I was probably one of the first companions to get a photo session with him back in 06. He is an amazing photographer and what makes his pictures look so classy is the equipment, the place, the lighting, and mostly the poses that he uses in his photo sessions; not to count that he is truly a Professional and well experienced photographer.. I don’t agree that we all should think oh because it's Dreamshotz, the pictures are retouched and not real! because I know many, many ladies that have used him and they look just like their pictures.

I have seen other ladies pictures taken by him, but I brought up one in particular, that he has taken photos of. And I also spoke of what others have said to me about their feelings/knowledge of his work and pictures.  

So as you put it ....you speak for the masses, well then I must be speaking from the masses as well...NOT, just from personal knowledge and conversations with both ladies and gentlemen.  

At least when I say I play safe and discreetly the guys know THAT is honest and truthful.  

Each of us has our likes and dislikes and we are entitled to them.  You like Bruce's work.  That's great.  I personally choose to not use him...my choice due to the reputation I have heard from others as well as the work I have personally seen. That is my choice.  Just as you have yours.  It is a free country.  

And just an FYI here is what was said in her review right after her new pics were posted:

"She is a little older (and heavier) than her photos would indicate"

...there's a lot to be said for good lighting.

As a 'dabbler', I can recognize and appreciate a good artistic eye, and whoever Bruce is; he's got it.

There are a TON of things that I do with photos, including:
Cropping
color correction
brightness/contrast
Depth of field
Noise removal
...and the list goes on.

However, NONE of those affect the actual subject of the photo.  They are aesthetics to make the subject 'pop' and to allow for certain focal points.  It sounds like a lot when I start explaining it to people, but it's a far cry from the airbrush jobs you'll get on the cover of Sports Illustrated.  
This photographer seems to recognize the need for truth in advertising while still putting your 'best foot forward'.  I see no problems whatsoever with his work and quite admire it.

I just took photos this morning and could easily argue that after eating quite well today I, too, am older and heavier than my photos would indicate.  Unless I'm posting daily polaroids or a live-feed, I would hope that there's a little artistic license being given.  My hairstyle and makeup and wardrobe is not going to be exactly what you see in the pictures, either.

I've never shot with Bruce, nor have I ever met him.  If I could afford him, I would.  I think his work is above the standard of most I've seen in town.  

But everyone's entitled to their opinion.
This is just yet another from the peanut gallery.

I just received a pm back from the gentlemen saying he saw me in May. This is the email back and forth, so this shows he saw me when I first started out working. I had this apartment he is describing from 2005 to August 2006:

Anna is correct, Bruce does do great work and he, like any photographer with the skills too, will retouch photos IF ASKED. He may even suggest to some that they do it to look better, but does not retouch all photos own his own.

So to make a statement that all of his pics are touched up or photoshoped is wrong. He provides a service from basic pic to full touch up. It all depends on what the person being photographed wants.

As with most professional photos, what you see in the photo is usally better than live. Think of singers,actors, playboy etc... When lighting, makeup, clothing etc.. is perfect then the pic is very good.

Remeber the old saying.  "Wow, you clean-up pertty good!", that applies to pics too!

To recap, the guy's a great photographer.  He has the ability to make any subject look their best.

I have personally seen a couple ladies that he's shot.  One was stunning, and looked exactly like her pictures.  Another, not even close.  The problem that I have with his pictures is that I'm not sure which one I'll get next.  As a result, I tend to avoid ladies that use him.

Beauty, sexy, professional.
I can't count the times I've been sent to fantasy land when viewing the work he's done with the ladies. There's a familiarity with his work that, like when one sees an Ansel Adams or Monet, or hears the voice of Scott Stapp or Mariah Carey, is uniquely identifiable. He has a knack for bringing out the innocent beauty and impish naughtiness in his subjects. His signature pose, my favorite, is the lady with her panties pulled down to reveal her bum while innocently smiling over her shoulder at you. Nice work!  :)

Anyway, this thread has veered from the original query, Katrina. No, I haven't seen her but her pics are very hot. I'd like to hear more about her!
