So after reading the article it appears it was a texting sting.  The texts themselves incriminated the hobbyists.  So of course always ask for a topless pic prior to texting a sting and don't text for illegal service.

Also if the provider does not comply then boycott the provider in order to stop the stings.  Do not bring the phone to the appointment and have phone encrypted and shut off prior to entering a hotel.  That way no evidence can be admitted against the hobbyists by the government.

Mesa Operation Sleigh Ride with fake good reviews
Sting using fake reviews of undercover ad December 2017

About 15 guys arrested after LE ad had glowing and detailed reviews from fake customers on some sites. Was not an underage operation just adult.

One customer who contacted me was called from office into human resources and suspended after he was named in the media.  I have referred him to the attorney I refer folks to. As he said, what a mess he made by a few texts to an adult ad and going to the hotel.  He is discussing trying to get a diversion program.  He was held almost 24 hours in Robson jail.

He talked to another guy for who this would be his third arrest. "the three time offender said his first offense resulted in a 5yr probation and think 7 or 8 grand lawyer bill.'  Dave notes 15 days is the mandatory MINIMUM but can be up to six months if just prostitution - don't know why could have 5 years of probation.

"It was mesa police and also several in the swarm had federal marshal on there (sic) vests. The ad was new and the only one pic was of a latina gal in profile how looked like a pro that left town a year ago, that i liked."

His plea to the judge may be that he is "seeking counseling to get at the root of my illegal behavior, church groups to seek out a proper relationship so that I can let a judge know Im sorry for my deviant behavior, and am trying to change the patterns."

Dave can you give us a little more info as to where these ads were and where the glowing reviews were?

Feel free to PM me if you do not want post in open.

I do not know where the original ad/review was but he found it on escort babylon site.  However they I believe just repost ads/reviews from other sites.  The hotel was just off 202 and Dobson - Hyatt?  But don't recall which hotel for sure.

The operation is over and ad was only up a few days.

But I wouldn't mind becoming a Mormon they have good singles groups and mixers.  But I need to figure out a way to get dibs on a good mission, preferably in Germany and not Latin America, or to get an exemption or deferment on my mission requirement.  And I don't really like walking around in a tie and short sleeve shirt I believe ties should only be worn with long sleeve shirts, so I there is that too.

According to the article I read, in addition to making several other blunders, the men broke the cardinal rule of not discussing sex for money either in person or in text.

I have canceled several appointments with ladies I was on the way to see when they asked me to pick up condoms on the way. In each case I got blasted by the lady in question for being too paranoid when I canceled. One demanded a cancellation fee which I refused to pay.

When the apparent fallout of being arrested is loss of a job, 24 hours in jail and thousands of dollars in legal fees then being careful (aka paranoid) is the way to go.

Aside from the fact the this activity shouldn't be illegal, it currently is and you can take lessons on what not to do by looking at how these men got caught up in the legal system.

The guy that contacted me was not asked to pick up a condom but he did text, not sure exactly what he said.  The pickup condom is usually associated with underaged stings - not this adult operation.

The worst fallout other than employer finding out is the mandatory minimum of 15 days in jail - hard to explain to a wife! can be up to six months but most just get the 15-day minimum, which is bad enough.

Of course as I have "preached" for decades, never discuss sex and money by phone, text or when first meet.  Companions have a worse issue since ads or websites themselves have been prosecuted as illegal solicitations if bad words are used like GFE or worse.  Have not seen this recently in Phoenix but has happened over the years including a case found guilty by a jury based on ad only (in Scottsdale).

So therefore if there are fake reviews it ipso facto means there are fake hobbyists or previously legit hobbyists who have been compromised giving fake reviews.

The only thing to do is to have a free bbbj day.  Providers can give free bbbj to every hobbyist to re-verify them.  The providers would not be at risk because they are not charging for the verification process.  The integrity of the poon system depends on this.

Pooner,

I think you maybe have it backward. I think you meant say hobbyist need to simply pay providers for do nothing, give out all their private information and also a picture of penis with the words " not a mole" written on it. If your penis too short can just write "not" on it. Now nobody at risk and it make sure we all know each other good.

Christine

Be assured it is definitely long enough to write the full phrase!

But seriously the women are the weakest link in infiltration of a poon scene.  I cite the Korean case from King County.  Mole hobbyists went to the Korean providers and then left reviews even though they stopped the provider before a bj or bbbj or fs.  So they reviewed the massage only portion and the Korean providers did not object after they posted reviews.  If any hobbyist is refusing service then an alert should be written on them.  Even if the providers have to give the service away free they would be promoting security of the poon scene.

To reiterate, paying providers to do nothing was exactly how the government likely infiltrated here and was historically how the government infiltrated in King County.  Paying for a social date or massage only date and then reviewing and putting oneself out to be a hobbyist is a sure sign of a mole.  Once the moles are in, they then write reviews of the provider decoys and then its game over for everyone.

The ad is still active, I found it on three sites, but didn't find here.  It may have originally come from BP since its basically just the phone and a picture of an attractive, adult women.

I can not legally give more details about ad or phone used, since could be interference with a police/FBI operation. It was a high-end hotel but not naming for legal reasons.

He says the text message which in my view was vague and not a solicitation and did not include a money offer was:

"hi, i had a dream I could find a provider that gives great mind therapy minus the party hat."

The reply came back with general area and "80half hour, and all your dreams will come true."

When he arrived at hotel swarmed by police, phone grabbed, questioned about why, any moral dilemma's, frequency of using Backpage, given Maranda rights and off to 18-20 hours at Robson jail. Cell and $80 kept as evidence.

Is meeting again with the lawyer I referred him to and many have used with great feedback to me.  He hopes the lawyer can help him "in this stomach churning process."

He has a professional licensing issue and has been suspended by employer. Hopefully better than the Arizona Massage Board which can be very harsh even if charges dismissed or pled down to like disorderly conduct as in one of the Phoenix Temple gals cases.

I like the 12/18/2017 report in an article in the Seattle Times about a sting, "Perhaps the police will shift their focus to a much more serious threat to public health than non-trafficked adults consensually buying and selling sex."

The government will have an agent testify that the party hat is code for condom and the dream language is a common form of speaking on another hobby board, and the mind therapy is code of head doctor which in turn is code for bbbj.

But the pressing thing is the order things went down.  If as Dave reports the Miranda warning was given after he gave the statement and the phone was seized then his statement would be suppressed.  Also probably a warrant is needed for his phone as there are no exigent circumstances.

The defendant appeared at his initial appearance.  He then entered a fervert plea of not guilty and launched into a gesticulating oral argument about harm reduction until he eventually spilled, his pitcher of water over the counsel's table.  Then the case was transferred to the Rule 11 calendar for an evaluation minus the court appointed translator.

Eventually after processing and checking immigration status, it was determined the defendant was a Greek citizen.  He remarked he should have taken a vacation to the Greek isles instead of Maricopa County.

The government questions about "moral dilemmas"?

Uh, why yes, my dilemma is:

Is taxation robbery?

Do we own ourselves and are we free or does the government actually own us?

What about the money system which is not backed by gold or anything of tangible value?

What about the federal reserve which can print money and not accountable to anyone?

What about all the terrible judges who are morally repugnant?

...I'm just getting started.

Also it has to be a bbbj and not a hj.  Arizona law has an exception for hj in A.R.S. 13-1412 allowing LE to get hj's.  Thus providers should provide once a month bbbj for free as a continuing vetting process for all hobbyists.
