but I'm just going to go out on a limb & say, when a girl runs a mad-incentive, surely there must be a method to that very madness, right?  I mean, I'm thinkin'... it's not like she has an exonerating loneliness, taking priority as a beckoning call for drafting in the troops... no, I'm thinking perhaps there's an underlying situation at hand that has driven her to entertain such great lengths, as she is a clever one, doing whatever it takes to rectify any given stress test seemingly bestowed upon her, regardless of how far it has spun out of control.  Never mind my IQ... this is pure gut feeling I'm going on here.

The bank's interest rates being offered at an all-time low ARE NOT based upon a surplus in the economy... & so they're thinking in a generous gesture, what the hell... let's just give away the house, shall we?  I think not.  Just as the commercial says, "that's not how ANY of this works."  

Therefor, & again, this is just pure speculation... I'm thinkin' that standing the lady up all together, that you just made plans with, as in no-call-no-show, just in the rejection dept alone, on top of whatever it is she happens to be enduring... I'm thinkin' this might be THE worst possible time to blow her off all together, given there's likely a 'situation' similar to that of the supply/demand curve driving those banks' interest rates.  AND she just spent 3+ hours preparing to accommodate you for a mere 45 minutes of showtime, as if we naturally just wake up looking as though we stepped off the cover of Maxim Magazine AND our extended staff of help foresees all aspects of cleanliness & comfort to impress & serve you in that West Wing of our Estate's entertainment quarters.  Well newsflash Gentlemen of such little regard... it doesn't work like that & the more attractive one considers anyone else to be... the harder the attraction works at any level of grasping your attention.  

Now I don't consider myself to be a super-model for publications such as Maxim (never mind that I dabbled in it 20 yrs ago... then & now composes considerable distance of its growing spectrum), but just ask those ladies how long it takes them to get ready for a typical photo shoot... answer:  somewhere in the neighborhood of how long it takes a friggen Entertainer to prepare for the accommodation of her Date in Shining Armour.  And while these ladies may be flaky sometimes, don't let that keep you from taking my time & worth as any less important than that of your own.  One step forward & two steps back is something I prefer to do at my own will, in a nightclub, on my own free time... & NOT at a time when it would impact me most.  It's called common-courtesy, though may not be all that common after all!  Thanx for the vent, I've assumed my position for the counter-attack so bring it on... but most of all, thanx for that vast majority of you whom I am NOT referring to at this time.

I am sorry that happened to you.  I had a local provider that I had seen several times both professionally and civvie-ly make plans with me and no show after I told her I was on my way over.  Had rented a car and everything.  Second time it had happened over a period of several months so this time I told her to Eff off.  After several weeks she called and apologized.  

In business, and I don't care what it is, some people are not ready for primetime (Joan Rivers's doctor taking a selfie while she was sedated). We just can't get jaded, while being discerning.

I think it's fair to say that if anyone has invested a reasonable amount of time in this stable & logical realm, everyone reading this thread has been through the same thing regardless of gender a few times.

You make plans, adjust schedules to accommodate the time provision, take time to look your best and put on a good show, travel to a destination, and then it's fckin' Crickets.  Not Buddy Holly, either.   Nada.  No call, no response, no email, no explanations.  

Common courtesy is like common sense these days: It's just not there anymore.  And the ones whom possess both seem to be getting older and farther and farther distant in between encounters.   Maybe it's just me (and yes it's just me), but maybe part of my future screening process is going to see if someone is familiar with either P.J O'Rourke or Dr. Hunter Thompson.  If they get either one, great. The reason I say that is because it would have been much easier to say, Some mother f--ker stood me up and I want to cut his dick off. I hope you apologized to your key board Kelsi I'm sure their feeling a little sore too. Those poor keys must of took a hell of a beating. Some times I wonder if these no call, no shows and multiple missed appointments guys aren't just messing the ladies.

I have read endless topics on how when my date doesn't show on time or show up at all how I should be understanding that life happens and sometimes things don't work out. I agree you should at least receive a phone call, but I don't believe that would placate you. Whether you are a super model or not is irrelevant and speaks loads towards your vanity that you would make the comparison. If it takes you 3 hours to get ready maybe you should just realize that you are losing your looks......My regular girl just needs to shower and open the door. I see her for her stellar personality and of course excellent skills not how much make-up she has on. Oh, and if your having a financial crisis maybe you should be wiser with your money. As much as you charge I would think your bank account would be fat.

I'm sorry you are under-qualified in knowing what will, vs what will not appease me... being that we've never even met, & fortunately, I'm not for everyone.

...Speaking of which, the whole purpose behind my rates is to keep me off the streets, an old addiction I have battled since the beginning, 5 1/2 yrs ago.  The mere temptation ever provokes me, for it is the danger & high volume that I have an untamed hunger for... the excitement gets me hot.  But as my shelf-life reaches its end within another 6 mo, I had a vision for a size-ably lower in volume, more safety-invoked retirement, along with the disciplinary challenge of defeating my street-walking addiction for good... a trade-off to the seldom & oftentimes, more mannered Gentleman, than that of a real tool... say, someone like yourself.  But as some of us Ladies know, IT IS HARD.

And actually, please allow me to correct your misguided perception, which you purely project as my vanity...  Modesty has always been my better suitor, & had you better treatment of your ADD, you might have read on to conclude that I indeed DO NOT compare myself to a super-model, while I further reiterate if I had been a truly successful model before MY days of "lost-looks", you would have known by name the person who wouldn't be writing this, so that you may so arrogantly edit its intentions to suit your own needs.  And I do not judge your need to feel better about yourself (you really don't have to take that from your wife sweetie!).

Lastly (& I'm not really pro-medication for the treatment of mental disorders either), there is another cognition-glitch in your misunderstanding of 3 hrs to subdue my appearance:  no, a quick review reveals roughly 3 hrs of full-circle, self-preparation is; IN CONJUNCTION WITH the cleaning/restocking/preparation of my in-call location, to perfection each time (be it at street-walker volume, OR at the volume of those rates too rich for your blood), as hosting by my standards (& my dates'), involves an image, environment, AND atmosphere slightly beyond a mandatory shower.  And hey, the day my Gentlemen friends prefer the springing of a $300 supplemental check to dine in public WITHOUT my make-up, as opposed to just dining with their wives, I concur 100%, as I feel I look younger without it anyway, while frequently posting ads/pics not wearing any.  Though for now, it's just kind of expected in conjunction with my snooty rates.  Eh, to each his own.  And since I don't just sit around the house fully primped in the first place, it kind of chaps my hide to put me through all that preparation, just for the sake of impressing the cat between naps.

...and you could have been kinder in your response to Kelsi. No one has ever complained about Kelsi's beauty or her choice to wear makeup for a date. If she chooses to take 3 hour to prepare for a date that just speaks to her attention to detail which most of us mongers could never recognize or appreciate. I can understand your desire to see ladies who only choose to wash the previous guys' stank and jiz off their body before meeting with the next guy...you. I prefer to see ladies like Kelsi who are obsessive about their hygiene appearance. It makes a much more quality experience.
