so this past sat was supposed to be my first time with an independent. i called on mon. to set it up she told me to call saturday a couple hours ahead of sched. time,  didnt answer and never returned my message. does this happen alot? seems to me its not very professional(unless theres a major catastrophe)her reviews were good and for now she will remain nameless but a phone call or an email would be nice but im prob.hoping for too much  your thoughts please....

Some are known to be very thoughtful and organized...others have a reputation as being flaky at times...having been on both sides of the fence...the bottom line is that sometimes $#!^ happens. I'd say go with the flow and move on to someone else. If the gal in question follows up with you...take her explanation at face value and reset.

if you dont hear from her within a cpl of days please post the culprits info so we can all avoid that kind of frustration

That sometimes happens with my girls as well.  Unfortunately, we can't control everything.  However, when you Club TLC, at least we will call you to let you know that your companion of choice is going to have to cancel and see if there is someone else you would be interested in so you can keep your appointment.  Next time this happens, give us a call!  480-282-8585

I have to admit I stood up a really nice gentleman that I was looking forward to meeting on Saturday.  I did follow up with an apology, that is very much against the norm but in this case a true emergency did come up. Hopefully he finds it in his heart to forgive me and calls me again.

remember that this may be this woman's livlihood. Though you may feel wronged, no need to go inflicting damage.

Sorry to hear that the lady was not able to make the appointment. It happens and will happen. I have had some of the very best ladies cancel at the last minute. In almost every case I was able to reschedule. (those sessions were great!)  It is a let down to have a missed appointment for BOTH sides.  I have never missed an appointment with a lady but you might be surprised at how often the gent no shows.  Things do come up, illness, family etc.  I wouldn't jump to judge reasons or explainations. If you really want to see the lady reschedule and enjoy the time.  If she cancels again then move on.  Even the best will miss an appointment at times...it happens

If a lady is regularly standing guys up without bothering to call and apologize later, she shouldn't be in this business. It's rude, unprofessional behavior and she's wasting the guy's time.

We all realize emergencies come up at the last minute causing missed appointments.

But there is no excuse for not calling or emailing an apology later on when the emergency passes.

I see nothing wrong with posting the names of ladies who act unprofessionally. Perhaps the public attention may make them act better in the future.

same with me a couple of weeks ago.  the providor has had a number of great reviews since my being snubbed so i guess it was my voice.  her loss, my education.

I'd go slowly on that...stuff happens. Somethings cant be taken back once they are said...

I've had it happen twice - both with independents with whom I'd talked by phone and set up a confirmed appt prior to arriving in town.  Once in Hilton Head - the lady didn't answer her cell but called the next day very apologetic having apparently been in an auto accident and spending the night with her injured friend at the ER.  Unfortunately our schedules didn't permit a meeting but I'd try again if I get back there.  The second was in Tucson recently - very well reviewed provider.  We'd chatted before I arrived.  Got her voicemail when I called to confirm as I'd been instructed.  Later calls when she didn't show were greeted with a message of  "I'm not available tonight" and no ability to leave a message.  No communication from her at all.  Just like us, life sometimes intervenes or the provider gets spooked for some reason.  I can understand both.  Common courtesy would be a call like the first provider.  The second one doesn't merit a second thought despite her smoking body and reviews.
