I can't imagine what you're going through right now. I'm not close to my mother at all, so when she goes I think I'll be mourning the fact that she wasn't a good mother rather than that she's gone.

I am deeply sorry for your loss and honestly, I can only hope for your heart's sake that you weren't all that close to her. But if you were, I'm even more sad for your heart for it will be a long time before this pain heals. You're a wonderful person, Terri and you help many people. I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my mother a few years ago and there is not a day that goes by that I don't think about her. I'll see or hear something and I'll think "Mom would have loved that." or "That was Mom's favorite.". Even though she is no longer with you, she'll be in your heart forever, and you'll always remember her with fond memories.

...but my thoughts and prayers are with you. Please take the time to grieve for her!!! I know that popular wisdom says that getting on with normal life is healthy. Howeverer, I've learned that is only healthy to move on when you are ready to move on. Deal with what you need to, and mourn and celebrate your Mom.

I'm so sorry to hear about your mother, all my prayers go out to you and your family. I know all to well the pain you are going through. I lost my mother just six weeks ago. I think of her often, but I know I will see her again.
