to hit and run like he did, and especially in light of the research/response by probasses, it really can't be argued that it was useful information to hobbyists.

In fact, a better question is, why did wjewje write one board post in early '06, and three very undescriptive reviews, and then suddenly show up talking like an experienced hobbyist 1.5 years later?  If we were wondering about somebody being LE (or a shill for a provider, or a provider's alter-ego), that history would be of some concern.

I've tried to leave this alone. I've sent a personal note, with lots of detail, to anyone who wanted to know more.

Your apology means nothing to the lady. You had no proof of what you said and it was hearsay at best. You caused the lady harm and should be ashamed of yourself for doing it. At the less you should have pulled your post or were you enjoying all the attention you were getting. Just my 2 cents.

i have received no input from the op for three days. as he chose not to defend his assertation i can only assume there is not a shred of evidence to support him in his postition.

he owes the lady a heartfelt apology. all you have in this hobby is your rep and he just lost his imo.
