That is so horrible!

There is always an element of risk for the gals. Thats why I always laugh at those in the "no references" camp. Yes LE is a concern, but the single biggest question is always something along the lines of "what vibes did you get". Trust me, they do hear "the hairs on my neck were standing up and I couldnt wait for him to leave" (actual comment from gal to an ATF of mine while I was there). Jail is a whole lot less of a problem then either IC or the Morgue. It puts a whole new perspective on the words Play Safe.

Ladies I implore you  be safe!    Gents  remember this possibility and worse is why the ladies  have their security measures and  check references.

SoAnd to find out ...she did not check OR EVEN ask for references.  She did not have an email address on him AND he called her from a blocked number.  It is not right in any way to hurt someone else but she was NOT being careful.  Now you men can understand why we ask for references and other information.   I have been in contact with her - she is doing okay and just wants to move on.
