It's a lot of fun.
this is too funny I made 3 posts there now am not top 3 poster in last 30days LOL all wer today .....is there another local board they use ? Its so close to us thought it might be fun to help them get started ...I can remember when last August this board was like watching paint dry .....I have never been there has anyone any info to share ? they only have 30 ladies on EROS listed now so am thinking it might be fun to stop bye and say hello I do have a friend there so thinking of a quickie {visit that is} so any info or help would be great
May not be a good place to visit. I haven't toured there but have been there on an exclusive basis and for other reasons. It's just a small town and very different from what we are used to. That being said though you shoud go there at least once for sure and experience it. I guess there is a cool tram that you can take off of the mountain...which I always wanted to try. I just like that sort of thing. Call me if you would like.
It's a lot of fun.
May not be a good place to work, but a great place to visit....
The tram to the Sandias is just one attraction, there is now a high speed train to Santa Fe.. Taos is definitely worth a visit, especially for art lovers.. The balloon fiesta is world class and a great extravaganza... The bosque along the Rio Grande is a unique Eco system that is particularly beautiful in the fall..
Don't even start me on the food... New Mexico cuisine is one reason to keep on living!
It's a laid back atmosphere with an ethnic balance of Caucasian, native American, and Hispanic that has created a unique society with it's own architecture, art, and cuisine...
Ok... I'm off to collect my stipend from the NM chamber of commerce ![]()
Have to agree. I've been there once for an out of town date.. I really can't imagine work "booming" so to speak, but the energy was really fantastic! Very different from ca, ny, az, fl...or any of the other places I've explored. I didn't do much sight seeing (wink), but I can imagine there would be some culture there, & fun things special to NM to explore.
But for work? I don't think it would be worth all the effort I know YOU put into your companionship.
"High speed train"???
That's a laugh....
...of their local hobby board, Southwest Companions. Major local players were exposed and arrested. Very beautiful country in Albuquerque and Santa Fe. Taos is a very cool art community and worth a visit. (Julia Roberts lives near there) Perhaps Ol Desperado or Mikey can help. I've never hobbied there.
No way in hell is it as exciting as Las Vegas or any other larger city. That's why I play there for the most part. We don't have any REAL professional sports teams but the Dodger's farm team called the Isotopes for fuck sakes after a joke on 'the Simpsons'. UNM's football team sucks ass, but the basketball team seems to do pretty well. Cool auditorium called 'The Pit' cuz on the outside it looks like a two-story building, but the inside is hollowed out in a cone shape and sits 10,000+ for their games. More than that, I think. Used to watch Johnny Tapia and Danny Romero fights there when they were in their prime.
The food is fucking awesome if you know where to go. Shit, some of the 'roach coaches' have killer burritos and stuff. Some of the places that try nouveau shit, or cater to tourists I stay away from. I dig the stuff like mom makes(she's Hispanic).
Yeah, there's the Balloon Fiesta in early October, and my brother mrfisher and his lady-love BeverlyFisher came and visited me for the last weekend of it last go-round. We went to the Tram, but the wait was too long cuz all the tourists to see the balloons went there so we had a few drinks and went to my place and, well, read the review, lol!
The bosque is cool if you like to walk around the trees and shit. The zoo and biopark is surprisingly top-notch for the size of city we have.
The State Fair in September, in my opinion is a waste of time unless you like to go bet on the ponies like I do. Same ol' exhibits and other shit as the previous year. The museums and art galleries in Old Town are cool to take tourists to and during the summer the art museum have concerts on Friday nights(Salsa and Hispanic influenced) and on Saturdays Jazz in there backyard with sculptures which I used to go was catered by a favorite place called the Cooperage that makes killer steaks and seafood. They're across the street from the Fair Grounds, as a matter of fact.
There are casinos run by the Indian tribes to the north, south, and west of Albuquerque. Two in the north, actually. Sandia is right on the outskirts. Has a golf course, spa, all the trappings of a resort as well as the Tamaya resort north of Rio Rancho which a city next door to ABQ kinda like Dallas/Ft.Worth. The one to the south is actually run by Hard Rock. Casino, hotel, golfing and they run the amphiteater I saw The Eagles, Steely Dan, Iron Maiden, Huey Lewis, Chicago, and others at.
The RailRunner actually starts south of ABQ and runs up to Santa Fe. Always wanted to fuck on that.
Santa Fe is called 'The City Different' for a reason. Different vibe, different people(untill you get to know them), and costs more to see and do shit there. Mainly cuz the artsy fartsy and Hollywood types that have houses around there and Taos drove the prices up for no good reason. Saw Linda Lavin(remember her?!) at an eatery in Tesuque which is north of Santa Fe. Tesuque Village Market, awesome food, asshole owner! But the museums and art galleries are fantastic in Santa Fe. The Plaza is where you'll find these treasures. If you like HOT fucking New Mexican food go to Horseman's Haven on the southside of Santa Fe. Tell them to put the chile on the side just incase...
Now for the good stuff. Yeah, it's true this isn't a haven for providers. The truth of the matter is Destiny was the star here. Still is, and on occasion comes back to see her regulars amongst other reasons I'm not privy to say, lol! But the fact of the matter is, after she left, it died here. There's a few ladies I'd most certainly like to boink. But for the most part, the pickings here are few and far between as far as I'm concerned.
I've noticed touring ladies come around for some reason or other. I've never seen one, but OD has and another local brother. The three of us get together every couple months or so on a Saturday afternoon over brewskis and food and talk shit at one of a few places that are known more for the 'scenery' than their food, lol!
Hope this helps, and if anyone wants to make a drive-by, let OD or I know and let's see how much hell we can raise!... ![]()
I have to agree with everything that MP67 said. I would like to add that New Mexico's vistas also include the variations of the rest of the state that lend a totally different view to that of Albuquerque, Santa Fe, and Taos. Also in addition to Destiny that was and probably reign as our greatest (that left) another that ranks right up there in my books is Mia who also left after the great SWC shake up.
We enjoy the touring ladies but I can say that it has been my experience that the ones that I have seen have been mediocre at best.
P411 is huge out there and I would say 90% off the appointment request I got were p411 members with provider OKs.I was in abq last month and had a blast.I think new mexico has a serouis lack of providers. You should try posting a visiting add on p411 I bet you would get a decent amount of responses.I had a few request from santa fe as well. Its not as bad as everyone on here thinks.I think the hobbiest in areas that are consider hot lay at little lower and are not as active on the boards.
Thank you so much for that info ! you have a pm
