I think I can put some calls into the Red Cross and see if there is anything that can be done, also various agencies around the valley. There are also many organizations that will donate time and therapy. I will begin researching this afternoon.
Call me if anyone has any ideas. This needs to be a group effort and it can't go on for just a week, this is long-term stuff. This lady will need help and support for months with this.

...to me that because she's just moved and has incurred the moving expenses and hasn't really set up yet, she might be able to use something in the way of donations to help defray funeral expenses. If there's someone in Phoenix who could handle the administrative end, I'd be happy to donate....
I am with you on that one coochmeister. I do not live in Phoenix but if one of the better known people of this community would set something up I would be all for helping out with what I could. With the amount of good hearted people from this board it would not take much from each of us to help make an impact.

Thank you Megan for stepping up to the plate. Keep us posted on what you find. I can't help but think that this could happen to any one of us. I applaud the quick support that so many have stood up to offer. I hope we can all back up our words, and truly help MsManae out.
I don't know the numbers yet. Also you told me that her PayPal hasn't been to her new bank yet.
If there is someone out there that could help her get something set up on paypal in the meantime, I know she'd really appreciate it. I would, but I'm less than three weeks away from moving out of the country and know that I can't there for her.
Please post the account number when you get it. This is the most awful kind of tragety that any one with children can go thought. As Megan said she will need help for months if not years. She was so happy moving back to Phoenix that this tragedy saddens us all.
