Why can't they link each prfile stats to that reviewer. If not, why waste the time and effort of having them fill it out? Just go directly to the comment section.
I rely on the provider statistics to help the ype of provider that I am looking for. Many times the info is just plain wrong.
I am not talking about YMMV here, just wrong info that makes the provider one that I would not have selected.
Example of an unnamed provider who had an ad on 411. Stated GFE and 100% satisfaction.
My notes are in caps after = sign.

After spending time with her and going back to read the mixed reviews, I could see the pattern that the very few GOOD reviews looked like shills and mentioned services she did not offer. the majority of reviews were mediocre and all listed exactly what I experienced.
THE MAIN POINT BEING the statistics should reflect either a composite of the experiences or the most recent ones, not just what the FIRST REVIEWER enters.
Anyone have more thoughts or clarifications? Am I looking at this the wrong way?
I saw a provider recently with similar misinformation. When I wrote her review the old statistics (which were wrong) came up on my review even though I had changed them to reflect the real "her".
The stat sheet you read is the stat sheet taht was filled out from original poster. They should update it so you can few each reviewers stat sheet, otherwise it is a total waste of time to fill it out.
And remember one mans 10 is another mans 1.......and lots of shills go on.
You're correct. The first poster of a lady gets to describe her, no matter how blurred his vision was or what he didn't get a chance to try to experience.
This is an issue that can—and does—cause a lot of problems in the community. It is a matter of business and professional ethics.
Many reviews and stats are old and/or embellished or both. This happens because some providers have a definite tendency toward false advertising or because--for some perverse deep seated psychological need--some clients become overly enthusiastic when writing their reviews.
This state of affairs creates unrealistic expectation on the provider/client relationship; which, in turn, can create a very tense, frustrating or even dangerous business environment.
Personally, the Sheika knows of several, recently embellished reviews that were essentially edited by a particular provider to increase her business. This ploy back fired and eventually created many more problems than it solved…
I think the white list is a good idea. It is a start that begins to insure the quality of local clients, but it just doesn't go far enough.
The Sheika would like to see the local providers workout some formal or informal way of maintaining professional integrity amongst themselves. I think this would go along way to insuring that the web administrators would do the same…
And,,,
Dingus, sweetheart, you handle the tough job of moderator very well. You are excellent and well liked by all. You keep the lines of communication open.

Seems to me that if things have changed or services offered are not what really is offered it should be updated by the next reviewer. What's the difference the info comes from the reviewer anyway.
The only thing would be, if the provider didn't feel safe in performing or he was repulsive...
So maybe there could be brief notes under the category or even check marks as to yes, or no...
